1. Although Morrisons was insanely busy, it wasn't as horrible as I expected. Other than the usual people in the way and no one saying excuse me, I was able to move around with relative ease.

This morning on the metro a guy ran into my bag and my bag ran into the guy. We both looked each other in the face and apologized profusely to each other. So refreshing!!!

Very refreshing, indeed! I don't know what is wrong with people these days. If I say I am sorry for being in someone's way or bumping into them, I get odd looks most of the time. I'd rather have a 'get the hell out of my way' than to have someone run into me without a word, or nearly knock me over to get through. At least a rude comment shows they are aware I exist. ::) I'll still go on being polite though, since I was raised with some manners.  ;D

1. I was one of ten projects published in The BurdaStyle Sewing Handbook a few weeks ago, and my copy of the book and the dress I made last summer(!) for it arrived back to me today. This is the first time I've been properly published and I'm SO proud! It's such a good sewing book for beginners, and it's Random House, omg! (Mine's on page 128 if you find yourself in a brick & mortar store)

2. This is the first Monday in 10 weeks that I don't have to go to an evening class straight after work. Bliss!

Awesome news!  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

1. Email received saying they are starting to process hubby's I-130. I am REALLY going to miss England, but at the same time I look forward to being back in the States. It is a shame we can't take the best of both and start a new country.  ;D

2. I didn't have enough chicken Bisto and didn't want to go to the shop to get more, so I added a pack of chicken cup -a-soup. I just had a taste test and I think I might be on to something good.  ;D

1. I don't have to go back to my boring class until Jan 11. I know I should be happy about free education, but six weeks in and we haven't covered anything I didn't learn by the time I was 7!  :o

2. Enjoying the pine scent of the house, thanks to Yankee Candles.  ;D

Hooray! Although I love the security of nearly 7 years (21st of this month) of marriage, at times I miss the breathless anticipation of flights across the Atlantic.  ;D So glad you are able to spend the time (and NYE) with your boyfriend and his family. JOY!

Enjoy your DH, BostonDiner and Have fun jenny_ell ;)

1.) Had a great band practice with a new band I'm playing bass in. Rock on! So much fun, I think we may actually be onto something.   [smiley=guitarist.gif]

2.) Had a really nice time with my team today at lunch at the second of several Christmas meals  :)  Though this one was in the canteen, so the most sober of the Christmas meals.   ;D
