Two things you are happy about today/

1.) Whohoo confirmation I'm booked into a week long residential jazz course for amateurs. A week of trombone playing with some of the best tutors in the UK. Whee

Woohoo! Sounds like a great week!

1. Day two of sunshine! I might see the bottom of the laundry basket again! If not, it will only be one load of towels that I'll still need to do.
Cancel that. The guy next door has decided to have some sort of bonfire in his tiny little 10x10 or less back area, so it is too smoky to put this next load out. I now get to find somewhere to hang them to dry inside.

2. Hubby's birthday is today. He's not much for cake, and opted for a chocolate eclair, which means I'm having another of those beautiful fruit and cream croissants I had for my birthday. JOY!

Happy Birthday Mr. TamaMoo! 

1.  I had today off!  Got laundry dried outside, cooked dinner for tonight *and* tomorrow.

2.  Had harp rehearsal today with the harp ladies, it was fairly productive.

That was really more than 2 !

Aww! Thank you! Other than the whole '40' thing, I think he had a good day. At least now he can quit the 'I'm still in my 30's and you're not' joking thing. He'll still point out he is 54 weeks younger than me, I'm sure.

My Dh isn't even 35 yet an he keeps saying I'm old an I say I'm in my 40's when you reach my age I will listen to you when you say your old till then hush you somewhat spring chicken lol.   ha ha my older sisters say I robbed the cradle.  

1. I just got my Florence and the Machine ticket in the mail for their October show here in San Diego (can we say excited?)

1. I will be in the UK in a little under a month, and also got invited to my first fancy dress party ever!

1) Its a beautiful Friday and the sun is shining 

2) Its a bitter sweet thing. My son has his last day of high school in the States today. He graduates next Thursday. I can't believe my baby boy is a man 

1. I took an enjoyable walk earlier, while hubby was at a friend's, so I could take lots of pictures. The sun was gorgeous and the breeze was great. I even had a two cookie and Pepsi 'picnic' along the canal and read some of a Woman's World magazine I'd brought back from the States last year and hadn't read yet.

2. Despite my resolve to buy NOTHING whatsoever, I managed to come home with a pair of Oscar the Grouch socks. 

1. We're off in a bit for a lovely lunch in a pub with friends, then for a stroll in the surrounding area.
