A loaf of bread... and chocolate cupcakes with red frosting for the boys. They were doing Valentines Day at preschool this week... but it's cancelled due to snow so we're going to eat them all ourselves!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Rhubarb cake
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

triple chocolate chunk cookies... oh.my.god. These are so incredibly decadent. I really shouldn't have made them because now I will just want them all the time.  :P

I baked heart shaped sugar cookies for Valentine's Day, and I'm still eating the burned ones that I saved for myself. :D

Mostly breads and stuff lately (but in the bread machine..so it's sort of a fake out).  ANYWAY.  These two are next up on the list:

More chocolate orange loaf.

Will do the Victoria sponge cupcakes with lemon curd icing next, then Nanaimo Bars and then maybe Maple Walnut loaf to use up what's around the kitchen.

I'll be right over to help eat some of that!
