What is UK angel cake?

it's just a sponge cake... 2 or 3 layers in pink, yellow or white, with icing between the layers.   Its nothing like a US angel food cake.

Bummer! hope the other oven works.

Last thing I baked was some lemon poppy seed muffins. From a mix, not bad.

Well I haven't baked it yet, but I will be making a toffee apple cheesecake for my husband's birthday later today. I saw the recipe in Waitrose's magazine a few months ago, and promised to make it. Just need to go and get the last few ingredients from the store.

I hate getting new ovens. It takes me ages to sort them out. Good luck!

Diabetic-friendly sugar free mini loaves of pumpkin bread and banana bread for my BIL.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

I made cheescake, with ginger nut biscuit base and cream cheese.  Yum!  Quite a success for a first try.

I've got a poke cake in the fridge now made with home made yellow cake. And since that made a huge quantity of batter, I now also have a Marmorkuchen (marble cake) - well, loaf - in the oven, too!

Now I need a good rice pudding recipe - I have left over coconut milk so want to do an Indian version with that and cardamom and cinnamon.
