That's so cute, he has a ticker!  6 weeks will be here in no time. 

LOL, he'd kill me if I told him he was being cute I put one up on my computer, it's set for days instead of weeks, it helps to see the time counting down kinda. My fiance does have a countdown going at work, it's at 20-something days, his boss is scared since three people will be gone in May getting married and my fiance is one of the more senior members so things will prolly go to crap

LOL...yep, that counts!  I don't have a wedding ticker yet...have a few things to count down to before then!

OK, so DF reminded me yesterday that he is flying in on Thursday of next week, not Friday.  I have consultants in all week, so shouldn't leave the office early Thursday to pick him up...he's going to taxi it to work and then come to work with me on Friday.  We work for the same holding company...just in different countries.  So, we get to spend our limited to together at work...yay us!   

39 days and counting.... we got our marriage license week before last and now I'm trying to get people to RSVP.  You'd think that wasn't too hard, but it seems to be.  I really need to get some perspective, but right now, today, I'm so over my own flipping wedding.

we finally got a photographer...do you know it is cheaper to hire a photographer here and fly them to the states...then it is to hire someone in the states...that is what we are doing and are getting more for our money.....so now that, that is sorted I am a little less stressed but still thousands of things left to plan lol

August 29 at my parents' farm in Virginia! Taking advantage of that UK bank holiday so as many people can make it as possible

I love my photographer! He's from New Zealand and he's so nice!! I have a meeting with him on Thursday and he's going to do a mini-photo session. He also has a friend who's a makeup artist, so she's going to have a go at making me look pretty. Hah.

I'm having my final dress fitting on Wednesday! Wheeee!

And after the photographer thing on Thursday, I have a trial run with my hairdresser.

Then on Friday I have a meeting with the restaurant about booze.

And on Saturday I'm meeting with the cake lady (she's my cousin).

A busy weddingy week!

yeah I am dead serious...one American photographer wanted $4700.00 for 8 hours of coverage and all you got was a album with 20 pics and you get to buy the rest of the prints from him at an additional cost...And this photographer we hired is giving us the DVD with all the pics he takes to do what we want with....

We only have to pick the hotel that the out of town guests are going to stay at...

I am also going for a trial run on my hair in June (can you tell I am visiting the states in June lol)
I had a makeup artist but she went and moved to LA to work on a show out there..so I decided I am going to go to the MAC counter and tell them my colors and have them help me pick out some makeup for my wedding and have them show me how to apply it...and then on the day I will do it myself...
I never knew there was sooo much involved in a wedding lol

sounds like you have your week cut out for you chary lo have fun....

and I don't think your makeup artist will have to try hard to make you pretty...I am sure you will be beautiful...I have never seen an ugly bride lol

We've done that, but some guests are taking a very long time to book accommodation ... which is problematic for me as I'm trying to arrange a minibus to get people to and from the wedding. But until I know how many people will need transport, I can't book anything. Argh.

I've sorted out favours, a guest book and other bits and pieces, so I think it's all coming together at long last!

you ladies are much more organised than me. we're already married but doing a reception that's more traditional wedding with out the ceremony. Sept 5th, so I still have time but all I have is a dress and the place booked lol. My dress is half paid for and ordered at least. So much to do, too little time!!
