My friend who works in telly has recently been to a meeting with the Syco production team and she said that Cheryl is one of those lollipop ladies, incredibly tiny with a HUGE head and HUGE hair.

She certainly looks it. I actually liked her better with her hair up last night. It's more flattering than her usual big pouffy hair.

That seemed like a total fake to me. Maybe I'm too cynical, but that couldn't have been for real. Could it?   ???

You can watch it on the ITV site (X Factor section) - I missed the first two auditions episodes because I was still in the US, but they have audition clips up on the website so I was able to catch up with them :)

Yup! So far I like Diana.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Bad song choice. Can work the stage. Hope she goes thru and hope they don't ruin her natural talent.

Totally agree. That song choice could easily have seen her go out. Same with the poor lad Simon has... sorry, not au fait with their names yet!

I was super happy with the results last night and didn't care one little bit which one went!

We need to set the rules for this thread, don't we? Who's watching on Sunday morning rather than Saturday night? Are we OK to talk results right away or do some people need us to hide comments behind the spoiler avoidance do-dads?

I'd have preferred Girl Band to go out as I thought Bad Lashes had a potential rock chick element to them that could have been interesting, but overall, not bothered.

I watch Saturday nights because I have no life so I defer to others on the spoiler elements...

I love love love Diana! I already want her to win. If she doesn't, I hope she still gets a deal for an album because I want it. I could see her singing some Kate Nash stuff... she reminds me of her.

My second fave is Laura.

The girls are really good this year!

I love Diana too! Laura... not so much. I don't know what it is about her, but I don't like her. Diana is FABULOUS, though!

I'm not impressed with any of the groups. And the older guy? Not a fan of his either. I like Eoghan, but not the other two boys.

I missed the final episode of the boot camp thing - when they were at the judges' houses? There was another girl I really liked (with short hair?), but I guess she didn't make it through to the final 3. Hannah, I think? Boo.

I'm not sure if I like Diana or not. I have moments of liking her and moments of not liking her so much. :P

I do like Laura though.

I felt so bad for Scott. :( Poor guy. It wasn't bad enough that Simon picked a crap song for him to sing, but once again the sound was so bad, you could hardly even hear him. The sound was really bad last year, so I was hoping they'd get it worked out this year. Guess not. >:(
