Is anyone else on the south coast?

Im watching the news every day and feel rather detached from the weather stories - we had snow here on Sunday, it had gone by Tuesday and since then we have had nothing - not even particularly cold. Apparently if i drive 10 miles from here there is snow but Worthing seems to have its own microclimate.

Yes, it's warmer on the Southeast coast, too. We got maybe four inches last week, but it burned off in no time and that was it.

Though I did wake up to a skiff of unpredicted snow this morning, it's not much to write home about.

SUNSHINE!! I've never been so freaking happy to see sunshine coming through the back windows. Of course all it's doing is making everything outside even more wet and slushy, but I don't care!!!  :D

Forecast is for light snow tomorrow or Monday... but I can tolerate the light stuff if this sunshine melts the stupid ice!!!

Sunny here, too!  I had cleared our drive; but, there were stubborn patches of ice.  I threw some table salt on them and then let the sun do some work.  That seems to be taking care of the ice.  Hurray!   Looks like it will be a bit safer to venture out tomorrow if need be.  I don't like the sound of more snow, though...

The weather's all over the place here in NCL. Sunny now, but it was half-heartedly snowing all morning. I wish it would make up its mind!

It's been raining here this afternoon/evening and so the snow is slowly melting... I just hope it doesn't all freeze overnight and cause lots of ice in the morning :(.

Work from home, or in the Glasgow office?  :)
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

It's sitting pretty heavily for the West here, especially being so near a sea loch.

DH keeps saying we might get a snow day, but I hope not.  I have way too much work to do!

Here's Einstein enjoying the snow:
