Been in a lift with Radiohead
Spoke to Robyn Williams after we happened upon a crowd outside some museum in New York - turned out to be some movie premier.

Oh man, I would be sooooo incredibly stoked to share a lift with Radiohead.  [smiley=smitten.gif] I'm a huge fan!

My former professor knew Robin Williams and had a pic of him (former prof was a photographer) doing mime in Central Park, apparently that's how he got his start!

Peter Murphy. Absolutely lovely.

OH! Yes, he is sooo hot! I would love that! Saw him perform in Chicago and I swear I got some of his sweat slung onto me, I didn't want to wash it off.... LOL!

My greatest moment was still meeting Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins when I was 19, in the height of their popularity. Man, I thought I was soooo cool. LOL.

I was shoe shopping once in the same shop as Thom Yorke. May have mentioned that one before.

Peter Murphy serenaded me three times and shook my hand at a concert last month. My husband has not let me live it down. Especially as I didn't want to shake his hand, as he had a cold! So different from my 16 year old reaction. But this was at his recent Indigo2 concert and it was so,so good. Strange Kind of Love plus Bela Lugosi's Dead together. He seems to have mellowed with age. I like it!

I got some of Mick Jones' (of The Clash) sweat on me!  It was 1982 and they played at an old roller rink on the University of PA's campus.  I was right up front, of course!

this reminds me of a night when i was 16 or 17 and went to see a once fairly popular indie band who were touring with a lesser known band i interviewed for a radio show.  i ended up backstage hanging out with all of the bands (including a member of nick cave and the bad seeds!) and the lead singer of the headlining band kept walking by and making these weird sexual gestures, like sticking out his tongue, etc.  later during the show, i was standing in the audience, and in the middle of  the song, he gets off the stage, walks over to me, and LICKS ME.  like, the entire side of my face.  it was so absolutely beyond disgusting.

this probably means nothing to anyone these days, but i went to a jam session in the bar of black 47's hotel at the request of their lead singer, larry kirwan, after they played the irish fest at gaelic park once in the '90s.

it's not where you're born, it's where you belong

A couple of others I just remembered. Ex's sister went on a couple of dates with Jon Bon Jovi.  Inadvertently got someone a job walking Bono's dog.

Thank you!  Actually I don't have kids, but yes I like to think I'd be very cool if I was a mom!

I can't remember if I mentioned this before, so apologies if I have.

My friend and I stalked Michael J. Fox and Nancy McKeon (back when they were dating in the mid-80s) at a mall.  Hiding amongst clothes on racks, ducking behind columns - we thought we were SO sneaky.  At one point we were afraid they were on to us, so we pretended to look into the window of a Tinder Box to throw them off.  Once we were sure they walked by, I took a step back and.... walked right into him!  It was then that I knew my future as a spy was over. ;D

HAHAHHAAAAA!!! I love that story!!

I almost had dinner with Shaun Cassidy. Almost.

I've met Bono too - he was teeny-tiny, but I don't recall him smelling of anything other than stinky man-sweat.

I had to use subterfuge, but I met Bruce Springsteen.

I sat next but one to John Wayne at a football game. Before he died.

I've sat on GG Allin's lap. Before he died.
