haha YAY! Get a nice table cloth to drape over it and put a nice knickknack on top and it will blend in ;-)

Hahaha, that's exactly what my both my Best Friend and my mother said.  You make 3, so looks like I'm getting a table cloth!  :D

IA-On his way out the door this morning (at 6:45) MrRed5 asked me if I can go get two new tires for his car.  He's afraid that it won't pass the MOT that I scheduled for Wednesday.  I had planned a bunch of stuff to do today, and the last thing I wanted to do was to go get tires for his car.
UP-I was chatting to some Mums on the way to school this morning and one recommended the place that she goes for tires.  It is much closer than the place that I was planning on going to, and cheaper.
Plus I was home by 9:45 to get started on things that I needed to do today.

UP: My stepdad e-mailed to say he found my Kindle.

IA: Now I have 2 in different countries. :( (Bought the second one from Target, too, not from Amazon.) We'll see if I can mail the Target one back for a refund, or something.

You can probably get a reasonable amount for it off ebay, if that doesn't pan out. Or the Amazon Market.

Oh! and if you need the "original packaging" I still have my box. Should be cheap enough to mail an empty box somewhere  :D

Yeah, I'll probably see what the prices are on ebay. If they're around what I paid at Target, I'll just go that route.

I'll let you know if I need the box, thanks for the offer. :)

UP: Happy to be home after 10 days visiting friends in England. Had a lovely time while I was there.

IA: I have a lot of serious crap I need to take care of now that I'm back and it's all a bit overwhelming.

IA: Woke up at 3am and couldn't fall asleep for about 2 hours.

UP: Researched utilities and plans for when I move into my new flat. :)

IA: I fell down the stairs at work.  :o I ended up flat on my back at the bottom, bleeding, and not able to sit up. My coworker saw me fall and called 911. By the time the ambulance showed up, it felt like 1/2 the office was standing around watch me. When the ambulance pulled up, the rest of the office came out to see what was going on. I was in so much pain, was crying, and I hate being the center of attention even on a good day.   :-[

I keep finding more bruises. I thought I had mostly hurt the left side of my body, but this morning I discovered at least 10 bruises on the right side.  :-\\\\

UP: I didn't break any bones. And since it happened at work, I won't have any medical bills from the whole ordeal. The doctor gave me at least the rest of the week off to recover.

I found out after the fact that my coworker tried to grab me. She missed and I'm so glad she did! She's pregnant and if she had fallen too it would have been even more awful.

Another coworker I barely know stayed at with me at the emergency room until my husband could get there. Then two more coworkers stopped by after lunch to check on me.

IME, I hope you feel better soon.  Falling down the stairs is so scary.

Thanks everyone! It was scary - my heart rate was so high when I got to the hospital and I couldn't stop shaking. But it could have ended up alot worse than it did.

At the last  second I was able to grab onto the rail with my left hand and catch myself. My head was less than 1/2 inch from a concrete wall when I stopped.  :o I ended up with a sprained wrist, but that's better than getting a concussion.

I'm so sore today. I didn't sleep much last night. I was still shaken up and I couldn't get comfortable.
