Have you tried contacting Worldbridge at all? (It costs $3 per minute to call, but you can email them in regards to a specific application for free). Technically, they can't do much to help but they might be able to find out if the consulate have actually started processing your application yet.

I may be wrong, but I thought MPs could usually only help with applications actually made in the UK (such as FLR(M), ILR or switching between other visa types), not with applications made abroad.

Contacted Worldbridge and they basically said i need to sit and wait :/// as for the MP thing i have no idea what they do and don't do i only know what the MP emailed back to my husband after he wrote him asking for his help

I just feel like my application was as complicated as it gets and I doubt yours can compare.

I had 3 refusals, a removal, a criminal record, and 3rd party financial support.

Mine pretty much should, have taken the longest time possible.

You haven't even got an email stating that they got it.  Ive received 4 emails since they got it.

Using you mp won't hurt anything and they usually love helping when they can.

Wow--don't take this the wrong way, but I'm a little astonished that your application was approved with a minimum of delay. Any one of those things alone can complicate an application and lead to a long delay and/or refusal. Congratulations, though, that's pretty amazing.  ;D

I still feel like mine took longer than necessary. Besides the holidays and all that. When we sent ours in others were getting theirs in a day or two. I know mine was crazy complicated.... that's why I'm saying you need to check into yours some how.

Thanks pads!

Wouldn't you know that they left a number out of my passport number on my visa.... I just sent it back over-nighted and hope they fix it tomorrow and over night it back before the weekend. I almost bought a plane ticket for monday before I got it this morning.

yea but getting worldbridge to only keep repeating the same email is annoying and calling a 900 number for $3 a min only to spend it with a recording as well as finally when i do get a live person to be told that they dont answer visa questions via phone is redundant and again annoying. I will just wait the 40 and then have the Lawyer call

Checking your timeline, it says your Visa was delivered. Did you get an email to say that the documents were prepared ready to be viewed?

Hate that you're having to wait this long.

Ahh, if your lawyer submitted the application for you and put his contact details then I think all correspondence from UKBA will go through him and not you... so it's probably your lawyer you need to contact and chase it up with at this point, not the consulate.

Yeah thats probably right. I did that from the uk side. Ended up they got a refusal back and mailed a copy of it to out old address even though we had notified them of the new address. Then we kept asking them about it and they kept telling us that they haven't heard anything that that we need to wait. Had our mp look into it and he told us that we had a refusal.....
