So what did you guys think?

Love Aiden. Didn't really like the song choice for him, though.  :-\\\\ I maintain that he is too beautiful and unique for the show, really. I hate that they are trying to turn him into some smiley fake like all the rest. Just leave him alone!  >:( Not everyone is all smiley smiley all of the time for pete's sake. This is why he isn't a member of One Direction.  ::)

Cher kind of gave me the creeps. I can't believe they said that was the performance of the series, but then again, they say that to different people all of the time. I think she was crying at the end because it reminded her of a time when she camped out in front of some guy's house for three days as a creepy stalker. She seems on the verge of a nervous breakdown at times.  :-X

TreyC and Katie were boring to me. Except Katie's makeup, which was pretty terrifying.  :-X

Wagner... What??! I didn't understand a word.  :-\\\\

Belle Amie - Oh please. Dear God, no more torture. That was the worst performance of the night. So terrible. *shudder*

Matt - Any more chick songs and he is going to actually have a period.  ::)

One Direction - yeah, they are cute. I think Jenn may be right about them winning this year. The girls are going nuts for them and dressing them up like vampires a la Twilight was a clever move.  ;)

Paije was good, and Rebecca was amazing. She gave the best performance last night by far, in my opinion. Lovely song choice for her.

Hoping Belle Amie goes this week. Or Wagner.

I agree with what you said about Aiden (love a pretty boy in eyeliner!), Treyc, Katie, Wagner, Belle Amie, Matt (dislike him more every week) and One Direction.

But I kind of thought Cher was fabulous. And I didn't like either Paije or Rebecca, although I agree that Rebecca had a great song to work with. Aiden should have had that one!

I didn't like Cher this week  [smiley=curtain.gif].  I thought she was screechy on the big notes and just not very pleasant to listen to.

Belle Amie were dreadful.  Wagner was dreadful.  I felt bad for both of them because I think they are not being handled well by their mentors, but now I just think it's time for them to go.

Katie, ugh ugh ugh!  Hate her more each week.  If she's going to start being "quirky" as her "thing," I will have to mute her, or risk being driven to self-harm.

I like Aiden, but wasn't convinced by his version of Thriller.  I agreed with Simon when he said it was self-indulgent and the tempo should have picked up sooner.

Can someone please explain to me why Matt is so popular?  I just don't get it, never did.  I agree with Jewlz, he needs to stop singing girl songs.

Paije was all right, but the song was a bit too much for him.  I actually really like Amy Winehouse's voice, and don't think Paije comes off well by comparison.

Rebecca, I liked the first half of her song but thought she strayed a bit too far from the melody in the second half.

One Direction, meh as ever, but their performance was decent.

Still love Mary.

Les yeux dans les mêmes reflets,
Pour cette vie et celle d'après
Tu seras mon unique projet.

Je t'aimais, je t'aime, et je t'aimerai.

Oh dear Aiden.  I feel like that performance was a bit shite, but I blame Danni.  She sucks as a mentor.  Just take a look at what a chick Matt has become and that song was way too big for Paije.  He may be in the bottom 2 tonight.

Belle Amie, your 15 minutes are over.  That was wretched, no good, very bad awful.  In a camp with Wagner bad.  If I had any understanding of how the British voting public worked I'd say they're on their way out tonight.  I think Wagner is staying though, he has that whole "ruin x-factor" facebook following, so he's staying.  How sad for him though, the mast majority of folks voting for him are just doing it for spite and not because they think he has talent.  He absolutely butchered his song last night.  It was embarrassing.

One Direction makes me smile.  I think they'll make it to the final three.  Rebecca as well, even though she bores me to tears.  She just comes across as such a sweet person.

Katie was crap and her makeup was gawd awful.  I hope she gets sent home just for that makeup.

Cher was mediocre, Matt was mediocre and Mary was mediocre.  So, I think they'll all stay because of that.  I think Simon was right about there being a lot of nerves last night, it was an off-night.

I actually think she's doing well as a mentor. I don't like Matt or the songs he's been singing, but he's enormously popular! So she's doing something right!

I give props to Dannii for at least saying what she really thinks (like saying that Belle Amie's vocals were off, which they so obviously were, but no other judge dared to mention it.) I don't understand why they are all so nicey nicey this season so far when usually they aren't. I mean, is Louis on Prozac this season or what?! Usually he's much more of a pain in the ar$e.  :P

The weird thing about Belle Amie is that, not only were their vocals not great, but they didn't even seem to be singing at the same time as each other! One or more of them was always half a second behind and it was so annoying!

Well I just got to watch last nights...

Yeah I really like Matt - I dont know what it is but that song was not for him...Quit giving him such chick songs b/c he can do them (agreed with Jewlz)

One Direction - yes my guilty pleasure too and I really like what they sang and it worked for me!

Aiden - he is so darn cute with such a great voice and I hated that version of Thriller

Katie - freaky make-up didnt even notice the song

Wagner & BellAmie - go home for pete's sake

The rest didn't do much for me - I actually fast forwarded

But..here I am totally not with ya'll - Cher I loved and I even had a tear but I absolutely love that song and I really like her signing it..

We shall see tonight lady and gents ;-)

No kidding! The girl who started it off started singing at the wrong time, too.  ::)

Matt & Rebecca were wonderful and I found Cher's performance the best of the night.

What did TreyC do again? I found her unremarkable and unmemorable.

Mary - she's a one trick pony and all her songs sound exactly the same. Same thing can be said for Aiden as well.

Bell Amie - OMG! They need to go NOW!

Paije - boring.

Katie - freak on legs and she just grates on me. She needs to go.

Love Bon Jovi. I saw them so many times back in the '80s!

Buh-bye, Belle Amie. Don't let the door ... and all that.

Louis voting for Katie was absolute bollocks. That was planned before the show to add a wee bit of drama.  BelleAmie's time was up- but for a group of young girls that had never sung together they had a good run of it.

I'm going to get real tired of Wagner next week if anyone *except Katie* goes home.  If Mary gets sent off and he gets to stay, that will be an absolute crime.

I stand by my its a fix school of thought, I would really like to hate Cher, but I just can't do it. Her performance was really wonderful and I think she can do anything. I hate loving her, but I do. Mary really needs to start singing something different.

Here is my mope, they want us to believe that the judges are mentors, but I believe they only meet with the contestants once a week on a Thursday, the producers choose the songs and the mentors really only give a vague approval. They aren't really that involved...its more up to the producers.
