I agree with a lot of what's been said.

I went through a brief phase of loving Cher, but last night she did seem totally smug. And I didn't like her performance at all. She's so small and there was so much going on on stage, so many people, etc. that she was completely lost.

They need to fire Brian Friedman ASAP. He has this made-up job that means he ultimately ruins most of the performances. Get him out! Enough humping boob-grabbing dancers already!

I adored Aiden, but that's no surprise, is it?  ;)  He does sing with so much intensity and pent-up energy. I could watch/listen to him all day. Fabulous.

Matt sings like a girl and I'm so over it. That wasn't original at all and his falsetto does my head in. Stop  it, Matt.

I hope people will forgive Mary for repeating a song she's already done. It wasn't her fault and she's still awesome.

My guilty pleasure? It's Wagner. But I do think perhaps he's come to the end of his journey, or very nearly, anyway. He may be in the bottom two - or is it three?

If he is in the bottom, he'll be in the company of Belle Amie. They're not very good.

The big surprise of the night for me was Treyc. I loved loved loved her performance! I hope she doesn't go back to doing boring diva ballads next week, because this was so much better!

And Katie was awesome, too. She won't win, but kudos to her for doing one of my favourite songs ever! Anything from Jungle Book rocks!

Paije, John, Rebecca and a bunch of others I can't remember were all so boring. Booooooo-ring. I know a lot of people really like Rebecca, but I don't see it.

Oh, and along with Brian Friedman, can we please get rid of the stylist(s)? What they did to Rebecca was ridiculous!

Racheee the judges have lost their minds - I even posted on FB last night that they keep blowing smoke up their arses! When do they start saying I like it BUT xyzzzz....Everything is you are such a pop star and you were amazing.  I think we must have 1 positive and 1 negative as this will help them work on something!

Top performers for me:
Cher
Matt
Aiden
Katie
*One Direction - only because they are so darn cute!

I hate to admit it but I like Cher and Katie is becoming a bit more real...Matt I have liked from the beginning plus Aiden and him are such cuties too!

Bottom Peeps:
John
Belami
Wagner for pete's sake - but I am sure he will stick around for fun

Definitely - I don't mind Brian Friedman being on So You Think You Can Dance?, because the dancers are the whole point of the show, but he just isn't needed on X Factor - it's just an excuse to make a big production when one isn't needed.

My guilty pleasure? It's Wagner. But I do think perhaps he's come to the end of his journey, or very nearly, anyway. He may be in the bottom two - or is it three?

I can put up with Wagner as long as the Jedward thing doesn't happen and he doesn't stay in the competition at the expense of losing a better contestant.

If he is in the bottom, he'll be in the company of Belle Amie. They're not very good.

Yeah, I think he and Belle Amie should be in the bottom this week... the Belle Amie girls are pretty good singers on their own, but I don't think they work as a group - they're still just like 4 friends standing in a row and watching each other take turns singing!

The big surprise of the night for me was Treyc. I loved loved loved her performance! I hope she doesn't go back to doing boring diva ballads next week, because this was so much better!

TreyC is such a great singer, but her personality doesn't stand out enough for me - I think maybe it's the hair: last year, she was the over-25 with the big hair who didn't get into Simon's final 3, but now I don't even associate her with that girl from last year because she looks so different (2009 TreyC and 2010 TreyC).

I'm actually kind of glad that Mary sang her audition song again, I really loved it the first time, and I may get last night's version off iTunes!  I heart Mary, and always will.

I have completely come around to Aiden's vibe, while I don't think he had a great vocal performance last night, but I do love his freaky intensity and twitchiness.

Katie is completely up herself and I loathe her.  That smirky look on her face during her performance and her fake "gratitude" make me want to smack her.  I hope she goes soon.

Belle Amie aren't very good, but I feel really bad for them.  Simon clearly favours the boy group, and is trying to force BA to be something they're not.  Their performance at Judges' Houses was so much fun, but since the live shows started, they've just been four girls who happen to be singing the same song.  Can we get some harmonies, please?  I wouldn't be surprised if they go out this week, but I'm sorry for them because they didn't really get a chance to show what they could be.

It's pretty clear where Cheryl's priorities are with her lot.  Rebecca is always up first because her voice is good enough to carry her through and Cheryl's not too bothered about her anyway.  Cher always gets to go in the middle of the show because she's the Chosen One, and Katie is at the end so that she will leave the biggest impression.  I thought Cher's vocal was good last night, but I'm already tired of her "style."  And what is up with the judges criticising Mary for not showing any versatility, then with the next breath telling Treyc that she changes too much and they don't know who she is?  Versatility schmersatility, who cares?  How has Cher, for example, shown any versatility?  She's been exactly the same from day one.  Make up your minds, judges!

I could hardly believe Matt sang Britney Spears, but then again he's sung Beyonce, so it was the next logical leap, really.

That was about all I noticed from last night.  One Direction does nothing for me, John is boring, and Dannii has thrown Paije to the wolves.  She clearly thinks she's on to a winner with Matt and can't be bothered with the other two.  Aiden can hold his own without her, but Paije just seems lost.  Maybe it has something to do with the horrible clothes he has to wear?

I'd be surprised if the the judges had any say over performance order. Or, if they do, I think it's pretty fair. Singers who go first one week certainly won't the next week.

But Katie's closed the show or at least been near the end twice.  The order of the girls always seems to be the same, it's Rebecca, Cher, Katie.  The judges might not have any say about the overall order, but I do think they decide the order of their own acts.  So if Cheryl says that of her acts she wants Rebecca first then Cher then Katie, then that means that maybe Rebecca will open the show or maybe she'll sing fourth, but she'll still go before Cher and Katie.

I maintain the fact that its all decided by the producers, including the winner. They already know who is going to win....its a conspiracy!! But I like it...

I agree with a lot of what's already been said. (Damn, I hate being late to the party!)

BelleAmie are going home this week unless they end up in the bottom two with Wagner.  If that happens my guess is Simon, Cheryl and Danni are all going to keep the girls- unless Wagner pulls a SuBo and rocks I Dreamed A Dream for his sing off.

But, let's be real.  Wagner has a following, more so than some of the others- so my prediction is Belle Amie and Paije in the bottom 2 with Belle Amie going buh-bye.  Paije or John, but I'm guessing not Wagner.

I think they're sort of cruelly exposing Wagner.  This is just my opinion, but it seems like Louie has him dance and play the bongos to Ricky Martin like some sort of latin clown.  Cue eye roll.   ::)

I agree with the smoke up people's arses comment.  Rebecca sang fairly well, but that last note was a little flat.  Cher had a good performance, but she was clearly worried about falling off that set piece- as everytime she got anywhere near it she looked up at where she was putting her hand and then down at where her foot was.  Distracting.  I <3 Aiden, but he needs to pull it together.  Danni's all up Matt's butt, so she seems to have left Aiden to drift.  I liked Matt and thought TreyC was all right.  Katie had a fantastic performance but I want to smack the smug look off her face.  I agree with Historyenne her "gratitude" is infuriating.  One Direction were meh, but they're too cute to go home yet.

I'm far too sucked into this television show.  ;)

I think you are probably right about the bottom two tonight. I hope Paije or John doesn't go yet. I like them both, actually, just think they have been styled wrong and given some cheesy songs to sing.  :-\\\\

I agree about Wagner. I feel sorry for him. I don't think he meant to come on the show as a joke, but that's what it has turned into. He even said to Dermot last night that he prefers singing classical songs. But, I guess it isn't really a show for that, and someone has to provide the comic relief.  :-\\\\

I'd be happy with Paije or John going. I find them both so dull. But I think if either of them is in the bottom with Belle Amie, Belle Amie will go.

Agreed... I just don't find Paije or John interesting at all.

I was shocked Belle Amie were not in the bottom two, but John did not stand out enough.

Yes, I thought they should have been in the bottom as well. But maybe the pretend conflict between them and Simon worked in their favour and won them some sympathy.

I was really surprised that Treyc was in the bottom because this is the first time I thought she was good - and I actually really LOVED her this week!

Yes, I thought it was her best week -- I loved the song choice and the way she performed it.  Guess they will just give her an Alicia Keys song this week or something.  :-\\\\ It's sad, though, that she was on the bottom 2 when Wagner gets to stay in.  ::) She's a much better singer than Belle Amie or Wagner, for sure! Agree that John didn't stand out enough, but I think he could've done better with a different mentor. Everyone knows Louis is the worst!

She was amazing this week: wow! Other weeks, I could see she could sing, but dull. It was a shocker she was in the bottom, but not that she was saved......
