We had tacos with Mexican Discovery seasoning. I was disappointed, so it is back to Old El Paso for us til we are back in the States and can have the Taco Bell seasoning for 'do it yourself' tacos.

JOY! So glad you two are nearly together again. :) Enjoy your time with the parents. :)

We had a big roast for lunch so tonight will probably be something simple like sandwiches or possibly even a bowl of cereal.

Last night we went out for curry on the way home from a friend's house. Tonight we probably won't have anything unless we snack later. We were out and about and had an ice cream at lunch time, so we ended up getting around to having lunch at 4 this afternoon.

When I was a kid, chicken and dumplings was my favourite meal! My grandma made them the Hungarian way, so it was really chicken paprikash with dense spatzle like dumplings in a sour cream sauce. <drool>

Creamy herby baked salmon, roasted potatoes and salad. Caramel apple crisp and Cornish ice cream for afters.

I made pasta with a light sauce of sauteed mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, spinach, and white whine with lots of garlic and basil. Had some leftover coleslaw and some garlic baguette as well. :)
