Chicken and leek pie, probably mash, and some form of veg (cooked carrots if I have some in the fridge!).

We're trying to decide that now. Chicklet and I are exhausted...trying to stay awake as we had only 30 minutes on our flight from PHL. I know we need to eat, but haven't a clue what.

We usually do chippy or order Indian when we come back, just so we don't have to cook.

Tonight we are having turkey steaks with steamed cauliflower, dwarf beans and cabbage. (Hubs is having steamed cabbage, mine is raw with a bit of light mayo mixed in.)

We ate really late today because we were out getting stuff for Download weekend. I made Italian subs and we had some carrot and swede mash and cauliflower cheese from Tesco.

Last night hubby made a yummy chunky Italian pasta sauce with peppers and roasted butternut squash and chick peas.  He had his over venison meatballs and I had mine with pasta.

After spending the afternoon packing boxes to ship and pre-packing suitcases, neither of us are in the mood to cook, even to open a can of soup, so we are ordering Chinese.

We went to the pub around the corner. I had a crab cake sandwich with hand-cut chips. Oh, and don't forget the dill pickle spear. Delicious!

All of that sounds yummy, but what made me drool was the dill pickle spear.  ;D

Tonight we are having tacos, both hard and soft shell.

I made a mixed veggie curry on Wednesday and I ate the stewed leftovers last night with poppadoms.   Was nice to eat a big plate of vegetables to detox myself.

Tonight. I'm knackered.  Took some chicken out of the freezer.  Probably going to make an easy peasy arroz con pollo

I popped into whole Foods picadilly on the way home (that place is costing me a fortune)... and got the most amazing king prawns, they were huge! And some handmade crabcakes from the fish counter and some salad.

I got fresh jalapenos, stuffed them with the shrimp and some cheese, wrapped them in bacon and grilled them, spicy and delicious, the jalapenos were super hot and fresh.

Just sauteed the crabcakes, they were some of the nicest crabcakes I'd ever had, full of white crab meat and chives, mmmmm (the guy at the counter was particularly proud of them as he'd just made them - he was right to be!) :)

Yum!

We're having gammon steaks, steamed asparagus and some other veg. I just shopped yesterday and can't remember what veg I picked up. Senility rocks...  ::)
