Trying a cauliflower and chick pea curry recipe that i saw on Jamie Oliver's 15 minute meals - DW is due home in a hour so I'd best get it started because there's no way it will only take 15 mins!

I was right - more like 60 minute meals!
It wasn't too good either, too acidic with the lemon juice, tomatoes and pineapple in it....no lemon next time, think it could turn out ok then.

I had a surprise visit from my friend Chris while I was at work tonight. He brought fried potatoes and baked chicken, made with habaneros, jalapenos, garlic, bell pepper and bacon. My face hurt and I am sure my tongue fell out twice, but it was very tasty.

This is twice in a week he has stopped by with dinner for hubby and me to eat when I got off work. He loves to cook but says it is hard to cook for just one, so now that we live in the same town we will be reaping the benefits. He is an awesome cook so this is going to be fun. :) We also cook and take some to him too, so it works out for all.

Last night DW made a WW recipe for a ricotta and tomato tart which was delicious, almost as good as a pizza!

His and hers curry night again. Hubby has been given a ghost chili and a butch trinidad scorpion pepper. He is deciding which to use, or perhaps a bit of each. I will stick to a much less painful one.

Spaghetti with meat sauce. I haven't made it in awhile. It was really tasty and totally hit the spot which means I ate way too much!

Beef stew. It was so tasty last time we decided to do it again.

Fish pie. Got a great deal from local market of a pound of fish offcuts for £4 (Cod, haddock, smoked haddock, salmon and whatever else he threw in there!) that will do 2 pies. So half in the freezer and the rest in a fish pie with some prawns!
