Mushroom soup with crusty bread

That sounds incredibly tasty!

Butter chicken for me, chicken vindaloo for him and garlic naan for both, that had been planned for last night before we ended up at a steak house.

Last night I went all out and roasted a gammon in cider and apples, made my Mom's scalloped potatoes recipe, roasted carrots/parsnips and green beans and then millionaire shortbread parfaits for pudding.   It was so yummy and comforting. Best part is, I've got leftovers for lunch today at work  :D

Tonight I already know we're making a veggie stir fry, as we're off to the cinema to see "It's a Wonderful Life", so we need quick and easy and healthy (too much indulgence lately....)

Even though I don't eat meat, your meal descriptions always make me drool PB!  :D

That all sounds amazing, and I am jealous of your big screen experience with "It's a Wonderful Life". I would love to see it large as life.

Tonight we are having our Christmas feast, followed by the too full tummy blues.  ;D

Last night we took a break from Christmas leftovers and had KFC. Tonight had the odd combination of the rest of the chicken, cold, with tuna sandwiches picked up from Jimmy John's.

Party food from M&S...we got a meat pie variety box, ham and cream cheese wheels, and breaded cheeses...and the free Cava of course! Should be a nice last hurrah before "healthier eating" for the new year :)

We are doing the same alexpkeeton, except with some leftover cabbage roll soup. The free Cava was a nice incentive.  ;D

Beer and pizza. We're just deciding on Domino's, Pizza Hut or Papa John's.

Chips/salsa and pita chips/hummus. We had the traditional (well, for my family and others from PA) New Year's lunch of pork, sauerkraut, knockwurst, mashed potatoes and peas for lunch! Yum!!!

Pork, mushrooms and red bell peppers in a honey mustard sauce with a dash of chili powder added. Hubby had the same meat and veg, but with a Habanero and Scotch Bonnet pepper sauce.
