Oh, but I thought frayed jeans were all the rage now. You can buy new ones that are already threadbare, frayed and holey!! Think how trendy you will be  ;D

Which sounds good in theory, but I don't think anybody wants to see my underpants - well except DH maybe.  :P

I ironed on a patch but it's already come loose on one end (wore them today), so guess I'll be stitching it in as well.
Ring the bells that still can ring

In the last 24 hours I have ruined a favorite article of clothing, left one of my very favorite gloves in a taxi, and torn a massive hole in the leg of the new pj bottoms my mom got me for Christmas. Bleh.

I also have cramps, which is making me even grumpier about these events.

Perhaps they never contracted the virus? My husband gets them and I've had 1 in my entire life. We're just very cautious when he has a Cold Sore and minimize his contact with our DD when he does so he does not pass the virus to her.

My IA - I had pizza last night and today I feel so [smiley=bleck.gif], I feel like I need to detox. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Majorly stressed about money.

No fun, hope the stress/issues resolve themselves soon.

Mine: My lovely new flatmate moved my toothbrush/toothpaste (which were on the windowsill, out of the way, but are now more "hidden" in their arrangement, because obviously a bathroom can't have evidence of toiletries in it), and re-folded my blanket (that was sitting on my chair acting as a cushion - folding it defeats that purpose). Neither one was in her way, or needed to involve her at all, so why go out of her way to "neaten" up MY things?! If I wanted to live with a nanny, I'd do that. Since I don't, leave my stuff ALONE.

Oh god...my sympathies! She's definitely someone who doesn't need to have a housemate!

Argh. That reminds me of a flatmate I once had.  She was odd in a lot of ways, but it culminated in her colour-coding MY CLOTHING in rainbow order (ROYGBIV).  And, within each colour, individual clothes were alphabetized (shirts before skirts etc). Needless to say, I got out of there post-haste after that incident.
That said, have you mentioned it to your flatmate yet? She may be a compulsive tidier.  I get like that for about one week a month, although I doubt I would touch a new flatmate's stuff that quickly.

My IA: Boss just moved up a deadline on a paper I need to write. Crap.

Wow, the ROYGBIV thing is so weird!

I have mentioned the general "please talk to me about the placement of things and don't just chuck them places", but that was in reference to her moving my things out of the living room and into my bedroom (this was before she rearranged my things without moving them). I will probably bring it up to her, but even as a "compulsive tidier" instinct, I still think this is way overboard. I'm not even a non-compulsive tidier, but even so, I respect the general rule of "if it's not mine, leave it alone". (Within reason, she'd left some dishes in the sink the first night, so I washed them along with mine, but still left them drying by the sink.)

Yeah, mostly it just sounds like she's marking territory. How frustrating.

Everything seems to be a royal pain in my a$$ today -  I don't have the right information on hand and can't finish what I'm doing because of it, I'm waiting on a few other pieces of information, I've lost something else I need, I missed a phone call I was waiting for when I went to the loo and tried to call back and were unable to get through and playing phone tag, etc... every single thing seems to be doing this to me today

A routine visit with the specialist for Thing 2 has left me worried for him down the road as a harmless defect that he was born with is starting to show signs of not being harmless. We're on a wait and see approach for now, but when you're upgraded from a visit once every two years to twice a year, it's hard for this mother to not worry.

ETA: I should've stayed away from Google. I'd just like to rid my head of everything I just read.  :(
