Life in the UK test next!

Yeah....that one I've been putting off. Just lazy.

The two of you should be study buddies!  ;D

Oh, that's a great idea!  I used my husband for my study buddy, and it was fun, but he didn't need to learn the stuff like I did.

Excellent Rick! My advice is always spot on.
Does Mrs Rick have a UK driver's license?  If not, any time there's an argument about driving you can start the "there's one person in this car who is actually passed the test..."

Wellllll she has had her license for over 20 year, so I won't be able to play that card!

Rick and Fred, that means my book is up for grabs if one of you wants it.  It'll likely take six months for me to get into the mail... but happy to send if you'd like.

I feel you on that.....I was going to borrow KF's book to study but ended up buying a copy myself on Amazon as it was cheap as chips and also meant I could order a new boardgame...hahaha
Game night soon then!

And I hope your heat is fixed soon KFDancer.. I'd invite you here but we have no furniture yet. IKEA trip this weekend I think. But if you want to warm up at Starbucks I could definitely meet you there ;)

I'm just glad I'm back at work and the kiddos are at nursery.

We are snugly and warm with the fire and blankets in the evening though.  It's just hard to leave the lounge!  And VERY hard to sit down on the ice cold toilet seat.   ;D

Why not go explosive when I'm bound to explode from studying LOL

Seems like a perfect fit.

Rick...... No one else in the UK has to take their driving test through Inshes Roundabout.  Passing the test through that obstacle alone means we should have gotten medals instead of our licenses.
Congratulations!!!

I've got a wee bit of an IA today. I'm applying for a Chinese visa, which becomes a bit complicated when you're a dual national and have held a previous Chinese visa in an old, expired passport, in a different name. LOL.

I've never gotten food on my underpants!
Work permit (2007) to British Citizen (2014)
You're stuck with me!

Going to China?  That sounds pretty cool.
I'd bet that if you bust out your trombone you will be a celebrity.

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.  Not the dual national part at the time, but it did involve an all day trip to the Chinese visa office in London with a screaming baby...

But I do now have a 10 year multi entry visa for China that will work even if it's in an expired passport.  So, there's that...

Where are you headed?  I LOVE China.

My huge IA today is tomorrow I'm supposed to fly to North Carolina. Bastarding snow. Hoping Edinburgh airport is open and my flight is able to leave.
