This time it didn't take them a week to fix it.  I have prevailed.  But twice bitten... I am through.  I know I said that last time, but this time I mean it.  Probably.

Here is the final message from Tesco:

Quote
Hello Kimberly,

Thanks for getting back.

I'm sorry for the confusion, it's just the name on the account is under (HusbandsName) so it's ideal we speak to him to confirm.

However as all data protection has been confirmed this is fine too.

I've gone ahead and sent over a refund for all of the items listed so please allow 2-5 working days for the amount £14.25 to be back into your account. You should receive a separate email confirming this.

I've also logged that these items were so short dated and the substitute wasn't appropriate as you were left out of pocket.

I really hope this helps and please don't hesitate to get back in touch.

Kind regards

Elly Garcia

Tesco Customer Engagement Centre

I think they've refunded me for the entire price of the affected items... £14.25 is far more than I was arguing for.  But at this point, I'm going to take it and call it justice.

"Every day, Tesco makes me miss Ocado even more."

hahahaha did you actually put that at the end of your email or did you accidentally put that it the quote box?! Because if it's the former, that is EXCELLENT!

Oh, I absolutely said that!  :)  It's the truth, and Tesco need to know it. I had an amazing experience with Ocado back in Salisbury.  My husband and I are sad that they don't deliver this far west, and I keep checking to see if they've expanded yet. As soon as it's possible to shop with Ocado again, I'm switching back.

Not an IA at all. But I've got an incredible tan!

And I'm absolutely loving this Scottish summer. I'll be devastated once the normal weather resumes.

There already is one - it's called Unexpected Pleasures :).

It was started in 2005 and has 291 pages, however, for some reason, no one has posted since July 2015:

I think it's probably - at least for me - because it's so old and you don't want to be the one that revives it haha. I don't want to be a weirdo that comes along and comments on one from 2014!! haha (I mean, I'll do it! but it might be why it hadn't been posted in)

I like the idea of a new one rather than resurrecting those old threads!  :)
