Me too.

And here is a real IA for me.  I have to get an endoscopy and colonoscopy on the 13th. Blah!

Personally, I would insist on being knocked out.  That's just me though.

They put you under general anaesthesia.  So yeah for that.

I'm getting both done at the same time. They've already told me I'll be under general anaesthesia. So back to yeah!

Good luck Tami! I hope there's no serious reasons for your anemia found, but I'm glad they sorted the test relatively quickly!

I have to visit urgent care tomorrow because my GP can't see me for weeks. I've had a migraine every day this week and the first GP refused to refill my US meds because I can't take sumatriptan. Fingers crossed they give me that and a muscle relaxer so I can stop the cycle (I have multiple triggers, including muscle spasms in my back & neck). Welcome back to working in an office, everyone is smelly and they have no where to put me that's safe because we are tied to desktop computers. :(

Thank you Margo. I have some gastro issues. I've had a pot belly that protrudes further out on the right side plus all of my heartburn, acid, gas and bloating issues... I'm hoping it is something easily correctible.

And good luck tomorrow. Dealing with the system here can be maddening!!

My cat has an IA he wants to share.

Pedro Felix says he's one crabbit bas now that his hooman isn't freezing cold anymore and doesn't cover up with the soft blanket.

LOL, sorry for posting this after what you just said!  :P
Good luck Tami, that's an IA!

That timing was excellent haha

Good luck Tami! Sounds definitely less than a good time but at least the tests are getting done!

And good luck with your appointment tomorrow Margo.

Excellent news.

My husband had an endoscopy and was told he’d be under general.  After they took him back, they convinced him he would be fine to stay awake.  He no longer trusts doctors.  I only wish I had gone back with him to smack him upside the head when he agreed!

Oh my god. That's horrible!! I don't trust doctors period, but to be awake for one is beyond cruel. (local anesthetic also doesn't work on me, so it's not gonna happen unless I'm out!)

One of my fellow sick friends said I need to see my GP, not the out of hours, or my workplace likely won't make any of the changes they've agreed to. I already feel lied to about their remote work capabilities and environment, I'm regretting taking this job so much.

Oh no!

I always think it’s normal to think “what have I done” when making a big change.  Hoping things improve quickly!

Do you have anything built into your contract you could reference? Or even an email where they agreed this? Might help force their hand and put your mind at ease.

Going to follow up with an email today. The meeting was in person so now I'm wondering if they did that to not have a paper trail. (I made personal notes)
