I haven't weighed myself in 2 weeks an have stuck to the diet 85% of the time as well. Dh & I went to eat with our friends last Thursday evening an everyone else had dessert but me. my dietitian said as long as I stick to the diet 80% of the time I should still lose weight. well I weighed myself today at the gym I weigh the same as I did 2 weeks ago I'm seriously not a Happy Bunny at all :o  >:(  in the last 14 days I would say I have been to the gym 11 out of the 14 days so why haven't I lost any weight at all even a single pound would have been nice but no nothing!!  ::)  :P my trainer thinks I need to up my portions for the amount of excercise I do. I will definitely be having a chat with my dietitian on Wed Morning about what I can do to change things around.

My stress myself out until I am too sick to eat diet appears to be coming along fabulously!   :P

Sounds like more chicken-n-noodles & Amish cinnamon rolls are in order!  If only I could keep myself out of them & get you to eat them ALL.  :)

Shugga, maybe it's all the muscles you are putting on.  :)

I can't stand it when people support a cause incorrectly.  Yes, let's get rid of funding for Planned Parenthood because the government money is going to pay for abortions and that's all they do.   ::)

Get your *bleepity bleep bleep* facts straight please.

American bureaucracy.  Why oh why should being an American hurt someone else's chances of getting a bleeping visa?

Shugga, maybe it's all the muscles you are putting on.  :)

My trainer also mentioned that since I already lost alot of weight & I don't have alot of weight left to lose that it will be harder to lose it 36 lbs to me isn't anything to sneeze at in my book. ::)  :P  now that wasn't something I really wanted to hear but she is the trainer so she knows what she is talking about.  ;)  :)

Shugga, it is true that the more weight to lose the faster it comes off. I know lots of women from Slimming World that go like gangbusters until they are 5-10 lbs from target weight and then they're frustrated cause they're only losing a half pound every few weeks or so.

My IA: I have wanted to be asleep for the past two hours but sproglet has had other ideas and I couldn't get comfortable and it's making me more and more cranky so hubby reading with the light on was annoying me etc.  I'm gonna try going back upstairs in a couple minutes cause I think the sprog may be asleep now (or at least not kicking me in the ribs).

Thanks. I'm feeling a bit better, but the super strong antibiotics (Erythromycin, 2000mg per day!  :o) are seriously jacking up my stomach. I've been on them for a month now and I'm really hating these more than the last ones I was on for three months. The last few weeks, I didn't take the full dose because I couldn't remember to take it four times per day, but now I'm trying to do what I am told and take them all day long, every day this week to minimise chance of another infection. Ugh. I'm thinking I need to order some probiotic supplements this week to take when I finish all of these. I'm sure any friendly bacteria within five miles of me has made a run for it.  :-\\\\

Another rejection letter for a job.  I don't know what I'm doing wrong.  :(

Try approaching it in a different way, not thinking of it as a diet (and thus deprivation) but as trying new recipes?

Thanks, Slices. That's how I successfully lost weight in the past - I don't really feed into the idea of "diets" per se. However, I find it difficult to lose weight the same way I did many moons ago. I ate mostly vegetarian meals and cooked with little to no oil. Now that I live with DH, I can never cut meat out of anything, and overall he just is a bad influence on me. :P It's just a matter of setting my mind to it, I know. I'm just having trouble getting to that state of mind again!
