Definitely. Waiting to hear what DH's schedule is (us old codgers have to co-ordinate all our doctor appointments, ya know  ;D) and make sure the lad is available for cat care. But we're workin' on it and will let you know!

The US at Easter for 2 weeks - though that is a famility visit.

Having a week in July in Exmoor, Somerset - partly for DW to do some family history research as well, visit the town her great-great grandfather born in and the farm he worked at before he left to go to the US.

J and I have started planning a few things

1.) A long weekend in York-because we want to go to the train museum (geeks  [smiley=smart.gif] )- We just haven't figured out when we want to go yet

2.) J's parents have booked a house on the seaside in Northumberland for a week in June and they've gasp,  :o  invited me along with them.  (Which is an IA/UP, lol).

Having spent almost no time in England except for near London, I'm really looking forward to these trips.  So my Yorkshire/Northumberland peeps, lets meet up  ;D

3.) I may extend my work trips in Germany/California/Connecticut (this one for sure, as I can visit family on the company dime  ;D )  into longer trips to include a few days holiday as well
I've never gotten food on my underpants!
Work permit (2007) to British Citizen (2014)
You're stuck with me!

We're going to that America in March.  And we're flying business class, which I've never done before!

Visiting my family in Alabama and doing a US wedding reception, and then we're taking a week-long road trip to NC to visit my aunts and uncles there.  My DH and I are geocachers, and we plan to do lots of caching on the way.  I have a spreadsheet with all of our travel ideas, and he's been pouring over the map trying to figure out the best route to get there.  It's been lots of fun figuring out all the things we're going to do together.

This is our belated honeymoon and the first time I've been back to the states since I moved here.

I'm REALLY excited.

Egypt.  Well, that was what it was supposed to be.  Two weeks seeing all the historical sties.

Now, I think, a trek around the west seeing all the natioanl parks in the upper Utah/Idaho/Wyoming/South Dakota/upper Colorado area.  Maybe.  Or maybe not.

Oh well, worse dilemmmas to have.   :)

We were planning three days in Cairo and Nile Cruise, over to St. Catherines, a few days in Alexandria.

After two months of endless debates about who/what trip/where we were going to book this weekend for a trip in April.

But yeah! free speech.

I used to live there and have done two driving trips around New England with my poor husband.  If you want any tips, you know where I am.   ;)

Yay!  I hope it's not when we're away.

I <3 the Northumberland seaside - especially when the weather decides to play nice.  It's gorgeous up there!

Having spent almost no time in England except for near London, I'm really looking forward to these trips.  So my Yorkshire/Northumberland peeps, lets meet up

Why don't you further extend York & add Leeds onto there too?  Hint - they're very close to each other.  We have this cool museum:

Or neat old pubs, Andee & MLG & I & some others are here, etc.  Or how about a Bradford curry?  ;D
