Just finished Tough Guys Don't Dance by Norman Mailer. My first Mailer and I found it very good and refreshing. He is very much a manly man of a certain age, if that makes any sense.

Highly recommended but don't expect to be able to pass it on to your mom.

I really liked it. I have the movie and started watching it last night but got too tired to finish it. Let me know if you read it cause I am curious what others think of it.
As far as Prep goes, It is a really fast and indulgent read. Like a Judy Blume book!

I've just finished Digging to America by Anne Tyler.  I loved it, a real story about two families and also a meditation on belonging and friendship, thoroughly recommended!

I'm about halfway through and I really like this book!  I too would definitely recommend it.
