No lynching please.... but today I picked up Demon Seed by Dean Koontz... reading his books remind me of my grandma (I know it's weird, but she's a horror buff - both books and films) who always passed her books to me, and I read them just to continue our own private book club that's been going since I was old enough to read books like that. So I thought I would read this one and then send it to her so we can discuss it over the phone.  [smiley=blush.gif]

Dear Francesca by Mary Contini. It's part history, part biography and part cookbook. And it's really inspiring me to cook some delicious fresh Italian food with lots of lemon, anchovies and greens!

Miss Buncle's Book. It's the latest Persephone offering, but my copy is an old '60s paperback. It's such a sweet and lovely (and funny) story!

I'm listening to (and almost at the end of) "The Curious Incident of the in the Night Time" by Mark Haddon which is brilliant!
And reading Alice Hoffman's new book "The Third Angel" which is so good I'm devouring it in a day.

Drat, back to school readings tomorrow.  ::)

Oh man, I loooooved that book!!!! A Spot of Bother is great, too, (but very different style) if you like this one. It might make you a bit homesick for the UK, though!

Finally reading Twilight - very compulsive reading!

OMG you WILL be hooked!!!

Reading the other 3 will be mandatory after reading that one!!
Don't forget to read Edward's take of Twilight on Stephanie Meyer's website.
It is only the first 12 chapters but it is a good take on his side and how he feels about Bella!!!

I was wondering about "A Spot of Bother," so thanks for the heads up.  I'm going to see if the library has that one on tape as well.  I really like listening to it with the British accent, even if it does make me miss the UK.
