Anyone else watch it?

We used to have a reasonably active Easties thread, which was good fun --here:

We could get it going again if anyone was interested..

Not for me, but I do love The Archers.  No one else?  No love for the farmers with funny accents?

Thanks for the reminder of that Eastenders thread. I remember reading it and keeping up when I left the UK in 2004.

Currently in the US, we got a new streaming service called "Brit Box" that plays EastEnders a day after it appears in England. I'm starting to watch it again but I'm a little lost. I've lost a few years along the way. No doubt I'll pick up what's going on again soon :)

I read about 20 pages of that old EastEnders thread last night... was fun to remember some of the stuff that happened.  :)

Really?  I'm the only one sad enough to watch Easties and want to talk about it?

*HUFF*... I'm off to Digital Spy, then!  ;)

Easties is a love/hate thing for me... I never miss it, but sometimes after I watch it I feel like the writers must think we are all idiots.  At the moment, I think it's not too bad... Abi is so evil!!!  But I really wish they would kill off the Dot Cotton character.  She's had her time, and she is just beyond an annoyance now.

Bet you had your hopes up then when she had her fall!    ;D
I'm fond of Dot, happy they let her live!  I'm liking Abi better recently, she seems to have grown a pair!  ;D

No.. I don't watch Corrie.  I think they try a bit too hard on the comedy angle, and I just don't want any comedy in my soaps at all.

Abi... omg.  Would you REALLY live in a house-share with your 2 ex-boyfriends?  She's not right in the head... and Steven had better watch out!

Ha! The comedy in Corrie is what I love the best! Some of it is pure gold!  ;D

It's meant to be a really good exciting week on Easties... I'm sure all the wrong people will die, though.  They never get it right (for me!)...LOL!

I really hope it's Dot that got shot behind the door, but it will probably be Johnny... he is totally expendable, so I could live with that.
