This might be small/unimportant, but my visa and letter say “partner” not “spouse”... is that correct?

That’s what it said on mine.  I think it’s fine.

Congrats on your visa.  :)

Congrats on your visa.  :)

Thank you! And that’s good to hear, I might be overly paranoid (ok I definitely am..) about it but with UKVI you just never know.

Just to be sure, if anyone else can confirm theirs is formatted:
TYPE: PARTNER (STANDARD): [first initial of spouse’s name] [second initial] [last name]
...that would be amazing. I can’t find any images of vignettes which look like mine

I just checked my OH's vignette and it's as you state above, except that it says 'D - PARTNER (STANDARD)' followed by my initials and last name.

Not sure why we have a 'D' there.  Feels like I'm back at school again.  ;D

Congratulations :D!

You'll get an email asking you to bring your passport to the VFS centre, because they have to put the 30-day visa vignette sticker inside the passport so that you can enter the UK.

I'll be honest, I would not be happy with 26 BD, because that seems like an extraordinarily long time for the price you're paying. I mean, you could pay half the price for the regular priority service and get it in 35 BD!

For the price you pay for Gold service, I would want a decision within maybe 5-10 working days at most.

Completely agree.  Except that for the price of Gold, I would expect 5 day MAXIMUM working time.  Considering priority is usually 30 days (but right now a few days longer), 26 days isn't anything for *ME* to get excited by.

Yay! Crossing my fingers everything goes smoothly and quickly for you! Really hoping the priority is coming back with decisions within the 30-35 BD window I am only on BD 13. Still checking my email every day just in case lol even though I know it’s not going to happen this quick! Good luck with it all!

Maybe they're over the summer backlog and it will speed up. Fingers crossed !!  :)

To me, 26BD instead of 36BD is a big deal because my daughter's school starts on the 3rd and my new job has been patient with me. My bags have been packed lol!

Once the VFS emails me, I'm running out of here! I'm hoping to leave on Wednesday. :D

And I hope they really are processing some settlement packages in NY right from the start. It was within hours after I got the NY received email. Good luck!!!
