Yes we received the email from them saying they had received the docs.

I know that's why it's stressful because we know that most people have heard in between 3-7 days from the date documents were requested.

ARGH!

Their  MP said the UKVI  said they sent them an email to say there application was complex ..they said nope they did not receive an email.

Someone else who was refused had the refusal overturned in 24 hours ..

It’s crazy stuff for sure.

So today we sent an email ( we are getting our $7 worth)  but was curious about what the response would be if we requested to escalate  a second time.
This is what we received.

Dear xxxxxxxxxxx,

Thank you for contacting UK VI enquiry service.

Regards to your enquiry , your case is under escalation .

We cannot re-escalated it as it course a delay on first escalation , it will go back in a queue  and you will have to wait another 15 working days .

It bothers me more that they can’t even be bothered to use the English language correctly!! We have to show we speak English to a certain level but they can’t be bothered to show it in their formal emails!!

Like  the experts on the forum state the emails I am sure are really just to placate us and really dont hold much substance. I am just curious how many standard emails they have.

How are you ? did you go ahead and  scan your stuff to Sheffield ?

I think this process is wearing. I stopped work in Nov because we had sold our home and we  needed to purge by selling
and donating stuff , of course this was in anticipation of traveling back to the UK in January .How naïve was I.
Here we are in mid February and still waiting everything was going so well... I know we will get there eventually.

Can you not just scan all your docs to that Sheffield docs email address ?
