Just an FYI for folks. I’m currently on WD 47 on a Priority application with a prior visa denial. I emailed the “helpline” and their response was that my application was being processed as Standard not Priority and to email the Priority receipt. They also stated that because of my prior visa refusal and entry refusal VFS does not recommend Priority processing. I’m sure that is their “out” for any refund. I’ve recently seen 3 others be told they are being processed as Standard when they should be Priority. Not sure if this is actually the case or a brush off but just wanted to let everyone know. I’m beyond numb with this process at this point. Good luck everyone.

Sounds a bit like this is their new line...

Hang in there Cali. x

My UPS tracking never updated and two days later as I was getting home the UPS guy was also getting to my house. And I also paid extra for the next day delivery and didn’t receive it next day and it wasn’t a weekend. Hope this helps you! I feel like you could get it today! Good Luck!

So, I payed for Next Day Delivery, and I got my decision on a Friday, and had to wait until Monday, but it came by about 10am, I'm also right next to their hub, so I think we are one of the first on the list.
I hope you get it today.

Yes I can confirm this is what they have told me. After emailing (again) they have said that it wasn’t being processed as standard and I had to send in a receipt. That was today, 8 weeks after it was delivered as a priority visa.
I really hope they give me a decision next week. I will definitely be bothering them on a weekly basis for a refund once my visa is back.
I paid $700 just to have more anxiety and stress than if I had just gone for a normal visa. It’s honestly the worst thing that has ever happened to me, it’s been a really hard couple of weeks of just waiting (I can’t even work or anything since I thought I would be in the UK by now).

We're having the same issue with ours. Paid for priority, wrote "Priority" in massive writing all over the package, included the receipt on the top of the application... and it's still being processed, and that's from a May 22nd biometrics appointment.

My wife emailed them, and they said it was being treated as priority.

Now she's getting worried because her arrival date is getting closer and she wants/needs a bit of time before September to sort out her moving/job.

It is SO lame. The one time my neurotic nature benefited me in calling on WD 30.

I literally don't know what else you can do to ensure they process it correctly. I also wrote priority on the front of the package, I wrote priority on the folder Inside the package and the priority receipt was on top and yet they still missed it.

This is a very good lesson in outsourcing to private industry, though, and one I hope people keep in mind when talk arises about privatising other government-run agencies.

Hi - almost a month into priority since submission.
I received an email that docs were being prepared by an eco a week after my docs were received in NY. Does this mean I am in priority pile or I should be worrying as everyone else who paid for priority?

Thanks

The email is a generic one and will not specifically address your application as being processed as priority or non-priority.

I feel like you’re in the priority pile. Majority of timelines I’ve seen around internet show priority receiving ECO email fast and the non priority receiving after 30-40 days. I also applied priority sending documents to NY 6th July and received ECO email 12th July.

I could be wrong but it isn’t a bad sign to get that email early. They seem to have been messing up a lot lately though

Thanks, good luck to you too

Nothing since ECO email. My 30 WD since online application submitted is tomorrow. However it looks like people have been getting around 30 WD from biometrics which is a week from now for me. So if I haven’t heard anything by then I’ll be checking I'm in the priority pile ;)
