After the most agonizing over-weekend wait for UPS to deliver my package (wish I had known "next day air doesn't count on weekends), got my passport with approval letter yesterday!
Congratulations!

any news yet @JBinAberdeen ? It's only been 10 working days since my biometric appt, but i'm starting to get SO antsy.  I hope they're sticking with this 14 day trend which means I might know by Friday or early next week. This waiting is srsly the worst..

No, sorry Samjinks, no news here.  The wait really is brutal.  I'm now on day 95 without my wife and baby.  In fairness, the UKVI did stick to their timeline first time around (we got our rejection letter on WD day 30 I believe).  We messed up the application and then had to wait until I'd earned the requisite £18,600 before we could submit another, so believe me, I feel ya!

Fingers crossed for you and hopefully we both hear something soon!

Received the "decision made" email today (Jan 30th)!

I assume I'll receive my passport (with the assumption that it's a 'yes', have to stay positive!) either tomorrow or Monday.

Will there be a letter or something along with the passport that gives me my 30 day window? I know I have to pick up the BRP, is there anything else that is mandatory with the first few days of arriving?  I am going to fly back to the states to wrap up a few things once I collect the BRP, want to make sure I don't miss anything pertinent in the UK.

I know I need to get my spouse to add me to bills (hard copy!) and register with a GP, in due time. Do y'all have any tips on what to do for the first few days there?

Obviously, this is all under the assumption that it is a YES!

A two week turnaround is almost certainly a yes, so no worries there!  Congrats!

The vignette sticker in your passport will have the valid from/to dates on it.  On arrival, the only thing you have to do in any particular timeframe is collect your BRP and make sure it's all correct.  Don't travel out of the UK before verifying your BRP is correct.

If you expect to be gone for very long, try to get your name on the bills and stuff before you leave.  You will likely need to be present to do this, because when my husband tried to add me to utilities, the person on the phone wanted to speak to me directly to get my authorization.  The sooner you do this, the more post you'll have to work with when it's time for FLR(M) in 2.5 years.
9/1/2013 - "fiancée" (marriage) visa issued
4/6/2013 - married (certificate issued same-day)
5/6/2013 - FLR(M)#1 in person -- approved!
8/1/2016 - FLR(M)#2 by post -- approved!
8/5/2018 - ILR in person -- approved!
22/11/2018 - Citizenship (online, with NDRS+JCAP) -- approved!
14/12/2018 - I became a British citizen.  :)

Thank you ! I appreciate the response.

Only plan to be out of the UK for about two weeks. Nothing major!  Thanks for the tip about bills, I will be sure to get on as many as possible!

It’s a big ole YES!

Thanks for the wealth of information I was able to obtain on this site!

I’m so lucky that the question on the application that stumped me the most was which surname to use for my mother.  Great testament to how helpful all of y’all are.

I put Feb 27th as my requested date to enter and the window they gave me is from Feb 20-March 21, absolutely perfect for me. I won’t have to fly back to the states as I’ll have enough time to wrap everything up!

I’ll check back soon! Fly out Feb 29th. Maidenhead bound for real !

That’s great :).

It’s normal for them to start the vignette 7 days before the date you requested.
