Congratulations :D!

I managed to get our decorations up along with the tree. I wasn’t feeling Christmas this year, but it’s put me in the Christmas mood.

You know what, same for me :). I don't normally put my tree up until the second weekend of December, but I decided to go for it today... and I'm feeling much more festive now (I also realised that I've been in my house almost 3 years and this is the first time I've put up the Christmas tree... because I was working overseas for Christmas in 2016 and 2017) :).

Tree is up and cat has already removed all the bottom row. Oh this is going to be fun.

Got a proper winter coat thanks to Asda. I'm a proper puffy coat owner.

I now have a cold and it feels like the flu so I made some delicious baked potato soup. Heaven 😁

We were going to go pick out a real tree today but luckily my “this day in time” memory popped up reminding me that my son is the same age as my daughter was when she stripped the tree of all its decorations.  So we are foregoing the real tree this year in favour of the small fake tree in garage.  I think it’s a wise choice!

Back to real trees next year.

Smart idea indeed  ;D

I'm back home now, over the jetlag and sadness of leaving my kids, again. I'm back in my daily routine.

Just a few pics from my trip that made me stupid happy.

was scrolling through at work and just realised that they aren't all the same cat (which is really obvious now after looking through again LOL). I don't think one is more photogenic than the other. Just want to give them cuddles

The one with the dog is ridiculous. They are a bonded pair and he absolutely adores his dog momma.

Driving instructor said today that private practice has been a huge, huge help.  He admitted he was expecting me to have taken a few steps back but instead was so pleased that I am taking leaps forward!

He told me to give myself a pat on the back, so... *pats self on back*
