I've been in my new flat for 6 or 7 weeks now, and only noticed today that it's got mixer taps!  :)

As we're talking about all the features we want in our eventual kitchen and bathroom, my husband (the Brit) said rather adamantly that he wants mixer taps.  It soothed my soul, because mixer taps are the future!  Yay for you!

Our bath panel is currently off as we had a leak - leak now fixed.  But ready to put in mixer taps!  It's on the weekend agenda.  That and hiring a carpet cleaner.

My 10 month old put himself down to sleep for his nap this morning, typically it involves lots of bouncing, an exorcism and sacrifice to the gods to get this kid to sleep when hes tired. He has major fomo
