I used my passport and just took the photo page photo it shows an example of a passport int he video so u select passport then get both pages when its opened to the photo page make sure its clear an easy to read and it should have a green tick when your done

Thanks, I'm going to take a picture of the passport (photo page & the page with it) and then select passport.

No worries i saw people say they used BRP but then I wasnt sure which to click when I did it so I just uploaded the passport as I already had it near me and it easily says passport

Hi everyone,

I submitted my online application August 18, uploaded my documents on UKVCAS a few days later. Tonight, Sept 9 @ 7 pm I received an email "FES Appointments" inviting me to use IDV app. I immediately downloaded the app, took a photo of my travel document and uploaded it. Took picture of my face as instructed and did move face as instructed (liveness check)... had few attempts but failed until it says liveness complete. The thing is there was no picture of my face being uploaded and it says "Not Complete"

What will I do now?

Hi everyone,

Got everything sorted. Submitted all the requirements for the IDV app.

It's quite simple and easy to use. Make sure the room is bright enough (evening time) when taking face picture, meaning bright room light and at the same time full-screen light on your device as it helps to take the photo.

If you uploaded and submitted your documents via UKVCAS Sopra Steria beforehand, these documents will automatically be linked and can be seen on the IDV app.

Hope this information be of help to everyone who's been waiting and having some questions about the app.

Now, its waiting time...

I applied for FLR(M) 26 April and submitted my App photos 2 weeks ago still crickets from UKVI ,  has anyone on a similar time had a recent approval?  Thanks!

Hi STP and everyone
I applied April 15 online, uploaded all forms and documents, and successfully submitted photos etc via the IDV App 2 weeks ago.
I have not heard anything yet either.
I promise to post as soon as there are any developments. I know others will do the same. Let's hope it's soon!

On Reddit a person who applied early April for FLR(M) and did the IDV app August 22 received their BRP today. So there is hope!! *fingers crossed* we all start receiving ours soon.

I've submitted the travel document and got the wife to do the verification checks. It was quite comical seeing her do it, but it all went well, it wasn't too difficult.

Now the wait can officially begin.  ;D

I don’t know if this is a good sign, but I’ve been seeing reports in several groups I’m in on FB that people have been getting approvals via email since yesterday. So hopefully good signs! Good luck to everyone.

Did they submit via the app or by appointment? I've read that people who've been the appointment route are getting faster decisions.
