Hi guys - for anyone still following this and keeping an eye on timelines..

Applied for extension of FLR(M) submitted on 4th May 2020 (expired 27th May)
Invited to use IDV App on 25th August
Submitted documents/photos on app 26th August

FINALLY today 9th October, received via email confirmation that my visa has been granted. BRP to follow in the post in coming days.

To everyone else still waiting, there's a light at the end of the tunnel! Very pleased as always to have had the emotional support of everyone here and to know others have been going through the same thing.

Congrats Mrose24! Thanks for sharing your approval.
So -  your dates are - May 4 application online, Aug 26 App submission, and email approval on Oct 9.
My dates are - April 15 application online, Aug 25 App submission, and email approval..... not yet, but SOON I hope!!!
Even though they are not working in date order, it's GREAT to see an approval, and one for the App crowd too!!!
This gives us hope for more good news in the coming days.

Hi everyone,
Just to keep up on timelines. I got an approval for my second FLR-M this morning.

I applied on 6th August and did Biometrics via app on the 12th or 13th of September.

Good luck to those who are still waiting. Fingers crossed that your decisions come soon.

Happy for you, but they’re obviously lying about date order, in every way shape and form. They aren’t going by application or biometrics date order.

No, they're definitely not. I was not expecting a decision anywhere near this soon.
I can't imagine the frustration for those who applied during lockdown  >:(

Agreed. I made my application 17th May and loads of people who have applied after me have gotten decisions. I am beyond frustrated and fed up at this point. Its all I can do to keep from losing all hope dealing with this on top of facing another lockdown, as I am in the NW.

I feel the same. June 16 here. I feel like we’ve been forgotten about. I cycle daily between anger, frustration and complete hopelessness. My anxiety and mental health has not been doing well the past two months, and COVID is not helping. I’m similarly in an area where we may have increased restrictions. Really don’t know what to do anymore.

Yes, I can relate, my mental health has really taken a hit as well. Visa issues and Covid is just the tip of the iceberg. I just would like this waiting to be over so its one less thing to worry about!

Would anyone be interested in collectively documenting the impact this has had on our mental health? I did contact one of the guardian reporters who has helped a couple people, pointing out the problems are widespread and we are all in limbo. I want the home office to at least change their processes so that all immigrants have the ability to check the status of their applications to confirm its in a work queue, and that the degree by which they miss their processing standard on normal apps counts in their KPI's. They are still clearly trying to fudge their stats by approving August and September apps before all of us from early in the pandemic.
