I only get a yearly statement for savings not monthly.

This is going to be rejected right  :-[

Not if they are satisfied that you meet the requirements. They are giving you the opportunity to prove that you do.

If they had reason to believe that providing this information would make no difference then they could have refused right away.

But they specifically said to send them April, May June, July statements which I dont have as no money went in or out.

Not sure how I prove that other than what i did today was to print from bank from March till august 2020.
I got right amount held in account for 6 or more months for their requirment.

I am just very confused.

You're confusing me too!  :) What evidence did you provide initially for the financial requirement? All of it.

It might be a good idea for you to start your own thread at this point.

Sorry i used savings + employment same as I did with my spouse came over. Everything is same the savings my income etc nothing changed.

I have sent everything again to them today there is nothing more i can provide them. Met the Financial requirment.

I might start one but nothing can be done so was just hoping for a little reassurance. As they wanted full saving statement per month which i dont have as its done yearly and bank can only print if there is transaction.

Personally believe the caseworker is causing problems for no reason.

Just got my approval email late this morning.  Submitted my application on June 8th then used the App in late August.  It said something about returning my old BRP?  Curious if anyone else has sent theirs back as it says?

Thank you again everyone for your support through all of this and hope everyone who submitted theirs before me get theirs soon.  Know how frustrating it was to see them go out of order.

I cut my old (expired) BRP up and sent it back to them since I have a new one now. The instructions and address are in the approval email, if I recall.

CONGRATULATIONS!

I’m getting a little frustrated now. I need to be back in NY for something super important on the 25th of Jan and I’m hoping it comes before then. I submitted my application on the 28th of July and sent everything via the app on the 20th or 21st of September, I can’t remember which date. I’m hoping it comes before Christmas.

I would be absolutely shocked if you didn't receive it in the next few weeks. I was about one month (and change) ahead of you for ILR and my approval came through on Nov 12. You can try initiating a DM chat over Twitter (they were good about replying to me), although they couldn't do anything other than confirm that my application was in process. It made me feel better at the time, but it still took another month or so for my approval to come through. By then, my hopes had pretty much drifted off to some other dark place.

I sure hope you receive a response soon.

I just messaged them on twitter and they confirmed my application and biometrics have been submitted to UKVI and that was it. Is that reliable using twitter?

I am getting so nervous that I have done something wrong with how long its taking and worrying I wont hear back by the end of the year now I know no news is good news but its been 6 months as of today and I just want to know.

Try to escalate when lockdown ends, and possibly contact your MP. They are well out of the service standard now and they have approved apps submitted well after yours. I don't think you've done anything wrong, they just have no rhyme or reason and seem to have been going by whenever sopra steria transferred the app data, not necessarily when it was actually done or the application date. It's a mess and I'm so sorry you are still waiting!

When you had the Twitter exchange, did you mention that you were at the six month point? That is, as Margo says, beyond the service standard now. And yes, maybe escalate to your MP.

I think the Twitter DMs are genuine, although they don't really serve much purpose other than to confirm what the status of your application is. I suspect it's pretty much the same if you call, but maybe a tiny bit less tedious. (I'm not a phone person, so that may just be my take.)

Someone here posted the letter they sent (I sent one too), and it was very well crafted, IMHO. If you'd like me to reshare it, I'd be happy to do so. You'd just have to cut and paste with the appropriate details/refinements. It may be better if it comes from the MP's constituent, but I sent it (I'm not a citizen with voting rights yet) and my MP responded via email in just a few days. I was surprised, to be honest!
