Congrats!! That's not too bad for timing, here's hoping they stay on top of it through the end of lockdowns.

Such great news and congrats! It's wonderful to see some movement on family visas, so there's hope for all of us still waiting! Now you can sit back and relax.  :)

Thrilled to report that I've finally received my BRP today! My FLR(M) renewal application was submitted in July and approved in December but it's taken an additional two months to get hold of my BRP.

I had updated my address with the home office while my application was still pending, about a month before my application was approved. Unfortunately it took them until January to process the change of address request (which would've taken a few days pre-Covid). That meant my BRP was sent to the old address.

I contacted UKVI 10 WD after the approval email to say my BRP hadn't arrived. I then had to wait a further 20WD to send a chaser request, since they didn't respond. They eventually sent me the consignment number and told me to contact TNT as they still had the BRP. Finally, after hours of waiting on hold and chasing them four times over the past two weeks, they've just delivered my BRP this morning.

So grateful this nightmare is over with until ILR in just under 2 years' time! Good luck to those still waiting - it seems things are moving a little faster now at least!

I got my approval email on Feb 3rd as posted, but I still don't have my BRP. I went to the contact page and saw that I should have received an email with a parcel tracking number to follow up which I never got. So it looks like UKVI never sent it (unsurprised, they never sent my original biometrics letter for the last visa ::) ). I just submitted a request for it to be checked by UKVI, but that timeline by FLGator86 doesn't make me feel good about this!

Hi all

Just wanted to post an update for my husband's FLR(M) application:

FLR (M) Date of Application: 21/01/2021
Biometrics and scanning: 15/02/2021
Decision received: 25/02/2021
Decision: Approved  ;D

I can't believe the quick turnaround - we'd been bracing ourselves for a decision sometime in April/May or later so I couldn't believe when we got the email this morning only *10 days* after the biometrics were given!

Thanks so much all for the help over the last few months

Congratulations! That is amazingly fast! I just got an email yesterday saying delays from COVID mean that might not get mine done within the 8 week timeframe. Here's hoping they are catching up!

Sometimes when they do that sort of thing the decision happens soon afterwards. I really hope you receive a nice surprise soon!

I didn't use the IDV thing, I had an in-person biometrics appointment but this seems like the post where lots of folks are waiting so I hope nobody minds.

I'm starting to get a bit worried. I submitted my FLR (M) application online on October 14 and attended biometrics appointment on November 13. I received a email from Home Office on November 23 stating that due to Covid it was probably going to take longer than 8 weeks. I see people getting their decisions now who applied later though, and I know this isn't necessarily uncommon around here but it is so nerve wracking  😭

Is anyone else still waiting from this far or further back?
FLR (M) Timeline:
Submitted Application Online: 14/10/20
Biometrics Appointment/Document Scanned: 13/11/20
Received Decision: 8/3/21 - APPROVED

ILR Timeline:
Submitted Application Online: 30/08/23
Biometrics Appointment/Documents Scanned: 29/09/23
Received Decision: 24/11/23 APPROVED
