I'm at the apple store in the mall, and some girl left her myspace page signed on.  ::) I was tempted to mess with it, but instead i just changed her title to "She doesnt sign off of things while in public places" and posted a bullitian saying "I'm an idiot.... i leave private info up on public computers so random strangers can read all of my friends messages"   >:D

BF not being a procrastinator for once!  He had one assignment this week and he completed it days before the deadline!  :D

He was to register us for a half-marathon we are running next weekend when I'm over.  I couldn't register from the US so he had to do it for me.  I got the confirmation email today!  I was worried he'd forget and he didn't. The BEST U.P. is that I didn't even have to remind him!  ;D

Okay, I decided when I booked my flight to London this summer that I wanted to relocate to the city (Memphis) when I get back from England, meaning I'd be quitting my job before flying out.  I had expected to give two weeks' notice next week but was unexpectedly drawn aside by my manager today, asking me what was going on with me. I was pretty much forced to give my three and a half weeks' notice as a result.

Normally, I would have thought this would go into the inconvenient annoyances thread but I'm unexpectedly relieved to have this over with, even if I was painted into a bit of a corner and made to give notice earlier than I'd intended, in a manner different than I had planned.

Two very dear friends from back home got engaged on their recent trip to India.  He proposed in front of the Taj Mahal and later took her to a jeweler in Bombay to pick out a diamond and have her own ring designed.

Great people, one of the few that you just know are truly in love and their marriage will last a life time.  Great news to wake up to here!  :)

Roy and I went to Croydon yesterday to get my FLR and after we finally found it and figured out where to park (if you were in the vincinity I apologize for the verbal abuse you might have recieved from a very angry man in a minty green Peugot) but the FLR process was no sweat, we had everything and we were "interviewed" (basically gave them our passports, our marriage cert, hubby's wage slips, the application and were told to come back at 3 to pick everything up) So YAY!!!  That is done for 2 years, and now we can just save everything we need for my ILR!

Also I have a job interview for 2 jobs on Monday!!  YAY!

That is a lovely story!  DH wanted to propose to me while we were living in India but didn't and I ended up with being proposed to on my living room couch.   :-\\\\  Oh DH....

My UP is having my hangover start to go away.

Congrats!  :)
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.
