Ah, Jewlz, I am so sorry that the visit was marred by arguments. Family relationships are filled with emotional history like no other relationships. ((Hugs))

Mine is I still feel gross from eating grossness last night coffee for breakfast as I am not hungry  :o (I think the last time I didn't eat breakfast was in the 80s) and supper tonight and lots of water throughout the day. Maybe a little yoghurt for lunch to settle my stomach.  :-\\\\

Yikes! This makes me kind of glad I'm an only child.  :-\\\\ Sorry your sister is so selfish. Hopefully you will get to see your grandma soon.

Thanks. Sisters aren't all bad...I wouldn't have my awesome nephews otherwise!

Hugs to you Jewlz :( My mother and I have a long pottered history, and my dad *sigh* I know I need to sort that out before it's too late.

Mine is...today I woke up without pain in my boob, antibiotics kicked in, final dose was this morning and feel good, had a good day....just as I'm about to go to bed I break out in head to toe itchy ITCHY hives, it's a Penicillin rash, boy has just gone to 24 hour Tescos to get me some benadryl. Great, I'm allergic to Penicillin now. Fab :/

Oh no! Hives are terrible. So sorry to hear that, but glad your boobie is better, at least.  ;)

I'm missing my once-in-a-lifetime tour of disused underground stations because of the hives :/

I'm guessing that was the tour of Aldwych? Sorry to hear you missed it and sorry to hear about the hives. What a rubbish day for you. :( I have a feeling that TfL might start utilising the disused underground stations a bit more once they see how much interest/money it generates. Not that it's much consolation, but there's hopefully a chance for you to see it in the future! (HUG)

Our landlord screwed up our plumbing trying to do a DIY himself when he should have called the plumber, so now we just have hot water in the bathroom.  ONLY hot water.  We keep having to refill the toilet tank, and and the shower is pretty unusable, unless you want to take scaldingly hot showers.

2 grumps today:

1. Yesterday Maxwell the Feline Fiend did a bunk through a window DH left open with no screen on it (he's supposed to be a house cat because our street is very busy). DS and I finally located him in my neighbour's garden having a glaring match with her cat Babs. DS ran around (in his too-big droopy shorts dangerously creeping down his legs!) and caught him. Then the bloomin' animal did nothing but yowl the rest of the day! Call of the wild.

2. The roofers have cried off because of the rain and it's probably going to rain all week  >:(

Try the chocolate horlicks Jewlz, DH loves the chocolate but can't stand the original.
My IA is that I made homemade pancakes for the girls this morning.  The 7 year old hasn't been eating well lately and I thought surely she would eat pancakes.
Nope

Definitely try the chocolate! Much better (and comes in a nearly no calorie version!)
My IA:
It's monday. My laptop (for work) has died and must be reformatted. And then apparently my credit card was in a group that was cloned from HSBC and must be replaced. All that's left is a rainstorm (umbrella just broke) and that would be...Monday.
