I went shopping today and either a lot of people are my size, people are buying clothes that are too small for them or shops simply aren't carrying small sizes anymore. I understand that in general most people are larger than they used to be, but us small folk still exist and need something to wear that isn't from the children's section!  >:(

Realising coming home and going to Tesco was a bad choice as the students are here now and so very very annoying and ruing the fact I did not go to M&S instead.... and many other things but lets leave it there!

My IA is that yesterday, while driving for hours hungover from southeastern PA to JFK to get my brother to the airport so he could get back to school after my cousin's wedding, I noticed that a bit of my left forearm near the elbow was tender when I rested it near the window while driving.  Upon further inspection, I discovered an ugly mole I'd never noticed before with a few ugly dark hairs stuck in it and am now convinced I have skin cancer.  Luckily I was able to call a dermatologist this morning and have an appointment for Wednesday.  And luckily I actually have health insurance.  Two years ago I didn't and would have been SOL.

Oh, also, BF is supposed to come for a visit next week and booked a flight a month and a half ago on his biological father's frequent flier miles.  Then, biological father went MIA and didn't forward the flight information to him.  I finally got him to call BA this morning to get important information like times, etc and there was no record of a flight ever being booked!!!!! So I have no idea if he'll get here or how.  Luckily, flight prices for next week are still reasonable and it's my birthday so I really want him here and don't want to explain to everyone why he isn't so hopefully he'll get here one way or another.  But really not what I wanted to hear first thing this morning!  SO ANGRY at his bio dad and really annoyed with him that this wasn't discovered sooner!!!!

got our shopping delivered tonight and I was really looking forward to the doritos I'd ordered but they were out of stock.

Plus I went to lunch today at the new Gourmet Burger Kitchen, and they had milkshakes on the menu - proper in a metal cup ones - and it just didn't taste right and it was thin (even though I'd asked for it to be thick) and had this weird foam. Maybe I'm just remembering them differently, but it was really disappointing.

I'm going to go console myself with a smarties cookie and nesquick.

8 was the smallest I could find in the shops today. I'm generally a 6, if not a 4. I'll just accept I'm tiny and borrow clothes from American Girl dolls.  :P

New IA: Someone's car/house/clock alarm has been going off non-stop for the past three hours. I don't think it's going to stop anytime soon so I don't foresee any sleep for me tonight. :(

Have you ever been to a chiropractor for it?  I've recently had a course of treatment from a chiropractor and within just a couple of visits my sciatica problem went away.  It's really helped me with a few other issues as well which were all interconnected.

Haha, that's almost what I'm doing, since one eye is completely blurry and one eye isn't. The eye doctor encouraged me to limit the time I wear the lens as much as possible (to give my eye a break), so I usually put it in when I get to work, but apparently not today as it's still in my flat. Might be taking the "break" part a bit too far today.

On the plus side, I can see with my other eye! Still a source of wonder to me (after relying on glasses for over 20 years).

No, this is something new that's started in the past month. I was going to go to the physio a couple of weeks ago, but of course it felt better.  ::)

I really feel like I'm falling apart and I'm frustrated!

Have had gastro-viral infection. Now soooo lethargic! Dr said today to take a couple more days off work. Sooo  much to do there! Ugh, but, i can't help falling asleep all the time. ::) [smiley=sleeping2.gif]
