Half inch of snow this morning. :) It melted, but is currently snowing again. Well, heavy flurries, but it is pretty. Spring snows make me happy.

A great day shopping with mom, and some awesome bargains at Goodwill and St. Vincent DePaul, including a Harley Davidson shirt from Munich, which looks as if it has never been worn, and a gorgeous, girly summer blouse.

With us it is as much, or more, about the talking as it is the shopping.

Lovely lavender plant in my window, right next to my face right now!  Also the sun shining through that window. I <3 my new apartment.

Knowing that I have purged down our belongings so thoroughly that I can tidy up this apartment in under 20 minutes--with KIDS [been out of commission since Tuesday morning when I strained my shoulder during yoga--been laying around and occasionally trekking to the Chiropractor]. I worked SO HARD over the last year to streamline all of our crap, and it's finally paid off. Very little left to do before we move, I think!

Making a new, quality friend as an adult. It's so hard to make new friends when you're not in school or not currently working.

Arrival of DS (Yay!) along with a suitcase of some more of my clothes, two pot holders,  wind-up 'weather' radio, my fav. chocolates, Cotman watercolor box, my renewed driving license, guide bag and assortment of other useful bags.  And a bottle of gin for his dad  ;D

Sounds like Christmas in April!  [smiley=antlers.gif] I always loved returning with a suitcase loaded with treats from home, or care packages from my family arriving. Now we are back to loving MIL's suitcases loaded with fave treats from the UK when she visits. She called a couple days ago and gave hubby a list of what she has picked up so far. Going to be Christmas in June for us!  ;D

1. My five year old is voluntarily doing the laundry. Drying the first load and putting a new load in the washer.  I didn't ask or even mention it.  She heard the washer chime and went to investigate.
