Two things you are happy about today/

1. It only reached 106f today, as opposed to 109f yesterday. 

2. I found out I will be spending the 4th with family friends for a huge cookout. They are grilling big slabs of ribs and will have lots of sides.

Holy Cow   in all my years of living in Indiana I don't think it ever was that hot 109 F that I can ever remember.

2. Coffee....I'm grateful for it as this morning, I wouldn't be able to function without it!

1. My book club is having a little shower for me and another girl who just had a baby.

2. The other girl is actually a good friend that I worked with and haven't seen since last summer, so I'm excited to see her and meet her new baby!

1.  It is my first July 4th as an actual American citizen - and same for my mom and sister

2.  It is my last July 4th as an American resident (this is happy and sad both)

1. 4th of July!! Might treat myself to a homemade (but sadly on a stove and not BBQ) cheeseburger...

2. Halfway through the work week!! (well ALMOST!)

1. New Kitty (Morris) is finally feeling at home and is confident enough to roam around the rooms we have opened up to him. When he first got here he camped out on the third floor stairs for 24 hours and refused to come down even to eat or drink.

2. Went to the gym today and I'm feeling good (but a bit sore) post-workout. I have never been a member of a gym before and I'm hoping this will brighten my mood and perhaps ease the pressure of my impending job search.

1. Mr MLG made it to his exam just in time (left in super good time, but flooding almost scuppered getting to uni!  )

2. officially on holiday from this PM - better get back to work!

I'm with you on this! Just trying to get back on track again with eating and everything! It's helps a lot with stress for me! I can work all the aggro out!

1. 70 degrees and sun! I will take it! Perfect weather for me!

2. Quiet day which means an easy work day for me.

1. A project I have slaved over for 13+ months at work has finally been approved by the client!!

2. Another long-running integration with a licensor from at least August 2011 has also been completed today.

What a relief!

I'm a very happy camper today:

1. Was offered a job/the start of my career(?!) and was sent the contract today.  (I even managed to negotiate a small bump in salary!)

2. Have finished compiling everything for the FLR(M) application and will be sending it all tomorrow!

Only downside to the job: Starts July 23rd, and is a 2 hour commute each way (until we find somewhere to live)...But with the olympics starting on the 27th?  oy vay!

1. Sooo glad New England has escaped the worst of the heat/drought. (Sorry for those with triple digit temps. though  )

2. My morning walks seem to be working off a little of the flab 

1.) Played a good gig tonight. Trombone playing was not too shabby. Jazz school paid off 

2.) Just found out old an ex-boyfriend is volunteering for something really altruistic , which was 150% out of character for him when I knew him.  Maybe he's finally growing up!

1. It's Friday! Enough said! 

2. Quiet day at the office and I can leave early and see my hubby!
