Two things you are happy about today/

1. We're getting bits of rain here and there, including a brief but heavy downpour this morning. The triple digits seem to have eased off for a bit too. We're still in a drought with a burn ban, but the relief seems to be coming.

2. Hubby heads to London tomorrow evening, getting there at midnight then headed to a hotel to sleep before his early morning interview at the US Embassy Wednesday.

1. I totally did my first UK Spark story slam.

2. I won dat sh*t.

Yeah.

1. The cat has finally started going outside without running back into the house every two minutes to see if DH and I are still there.

2. DH and I had a nice dinner out and I had ice cream for dessert. 

1. My G.E.D classes are going well and I love my teacher

2. I got Subway. Mmmm. Eat fresh, indeed.

1.  Getting my hair done next week. 

2.  Only one more week of full-time, then part time the following week, then off to Ireland for two weeks!! 

1. No drama (yet) for today! 

2. Boss just ok'd me taking a few days off to move to my new home for the week after next with my hubby! 

1. Mom and I went for Chinese at lunch. Mmmmm. Plus, it was nice having time with just the two of us.

2. One of mom's co-workers had a yard sale over the weekend, and let me go through what was left this morning, to see if there was anything I could use, just getting started again in the US. I found some great kitchen stuff and a fabulous handbag that looks brand new.

1.  It's sunny.

2.  IT'S REALLY REALLY SUPER DUPER SUNNY WITHOUT A CLOUD IN THE SKY!!!!!!!

1. Going to a friends house for a BBQ!

2. Packing seems to be coming along ok! Get the keys to the new home on Wednesday!!

1.) It didn't rain too much today - which I will take these days    Not the greatest weather today with lots and lots of wind, clouds, showers, etc but probably the warmest (a whole 18ish?)  its been in several months. 

2.) My friend L. gave birth 2 days ago to a beautiful girl.  She was already out and about and I met her in Costa 

1) I fly to England tomorrow to be with DF for 5 weeks - I haven't seen him since January!

2) All moved out of my last house - stuff is staying at mom's in the meantime.  Can't wait to move the stuff to the UK too.

1.  Found just just a few minutes ago on Facebook that a friend of mine has gotten engaged!  I started crying (emotional!).  I first 'met' her and her fiance online 10 years ago.  They weren't together then.  I have since met her several times in real life, and the fiance as well.  So happy for them both!

2.  Had a fantastic day walking in the dales again yesterday, this time with a friend who never would have done anything like it on her own.  The weather was gorgeous and we ended the day with ice cream!

1. Went shopping and found a coat I LOVE. Yay! Believe it or not, I went all last winter without a coat because I was pregnant and didn't want to spend the money on a maternity coat. 

2. Was inspired to go through my wardrobe and try nearly everything on until I came up with a reasonable pile of clothes I can wear, rather than just schlepping around in the same baggy jeans and t-shirt every day because I assume nothing else will fit. 

1. Got the keys to the new house we are renting

2. Moving is coming along ok!!
