I don't think she was able to get any out of the container, at least if she did we couldn't find the evidence. We're just impressed she managed that and surprised the container was still standing up!

She's a ridiculously smart cat! We tried an e-collar because she overgrooms, she figured out how to hook it over her belly to still groom. We can't do any of those tricks to make her do stuff like take medicine because it works once and never again!

how nerve wracking it is to wait to hear back about your visa application....it seems like it is taking forever...and part of me wants to know the result but the other part of me doesn't

You can actually get quite a bit of housework done in a relatively short period of time, just by stepping away from the keyboard & not frittering your time away.  Who knew?!  :-[ [smiley=laugh4.gif]

That I like brussel sprouts! I'd never had them before and my friend made them with her roast. They were really yummy!

Well it wasn't today, but at Friday's Quiz Night I learned what "callipygian" means. The definition was asked for.  Our team of women didn't know it and we didn't win.  On the other hand, we did get a new name for our team out of it.  ;)

That a beautiful piece of music can really wash away the negative things, at least for a while, and make them not seem so bad.

That the "fact" that the average person swallows 8 spiders in their lifetime (usually in sleep) is a myth purposely made up by someone to see how quickly it would spread via the internet.  Phew!

That Lush's website has an Advent calendar.

I forgot that on Sunday I learned that my sister got engaged to her boyfriend!
