So glad to hear you got out. Best wishes to you and your kitty. Good that you have kitty...I had to leave mine in California when I left my tormenter. But he is safe with my parents so I know he's alright.

So so happy to hear you made it! Best of luck to both you and your kitty with setting up your new life without that garbage in it!
And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
"Thank you for being a friend!"

Good to hear from you.  That's fantastic that you do have such a support network out there willing to help!

Hmmm, as far as the post office goes, sounds like you'll have to do things the hard way and make some phone calls and send some emails to advise people of your new address.  The sooner you can get some kind of 'official' post at the new address, the sooner you'll finally be able to open a bank account, I hope...

Oh thank goodness, you're safe! And free! Don't worry too much about getting established now. I suspect that jerk was holding you back more than you know and lots of things will now fall into place, including getting a bank account.

Is this true about the post office not forwarding mail if you didn't have a bill in your name there. Seems more logical they could forward it if you show them proof of identity along with proof of other mail you'd already gotten at that address. Maybe contact with an MP could help?

So sorry you had to go through all this.  Good on you for taking action and getting out.

Oh my goodness! I'm so relieved that you got on and updated up and to know you're doing way better!

*HUGS* Congrats on your new start.

If you can't find ONE person to help you in regards to a bank account or having ur mail forwarded I'd think about talking to a lawyer. You're in a situation...they should take that into consideration.

Just got on here and found more of your wonderful posts -- oh man...... MOUNTAINS of thanks to all of you for caring what's going on; that means so much to me, I can't even say.

I will try to see what can be done about this crummy bureacratic stuff; it seems so tough of them to expect a "bill in you name" when circumstances are not always going to make that possible, but I will see what I can do. It's a big chain of "Catch 22's" right now!

Thanks for the great support on here; I miss posting on here on long threads and having a good old running conversation; can't do that on the family computer or I'm hogging it  :( of course but I will get back here whenever I can as I don't want to lose touch.

Love to you guys all of you; you are so great,
Big HUGS

Thank goodness. Now, stay safe, don't go back if you forgot anything and never meet him alone.
