I have officially started job hunting and applied for 3 positions. I think that counts as both an UP and and IA. [smiley=confused.gif]

Good luck!

UP: Had a decent chat with my team lead about my (our) concerns with the project.

IA: Not sure how much will really change, despite his best intentions. So now I may be job hunting "for real" (rather than just dipping my toe in the water).

UP: I got a job!  ;D  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] [smiley=guitarist.gif]

IA/UP: It was originally part time (3 days/week) to start, before becoming full time.

IA/UP: They've called and asked if I could do full time from the start. We need the money, so I said yes, of course.

IA: I was kind of looking forward to easing back into work (it's been 2.5 years!), and now I'll be thrown into it from the get-go!  [smiley=dizzy2.gif]

UP: Reached a huge milestone on a project today.  Feel immediate sense of relief!

IA: I have too many milestones crashing together at once.  Looks like I will be putting in a few hours this weekend  :-\\\\

I missed my flight back home yesterday due to a hazardous material spill on the motorway (the only road into the airport).  I had to pay $1500 to get a new flight.

I made it to the airport today with no problems, and my money will be refunded due to extenuating circumstances!

Thanks!

I had just started to accept the fact that I was down $1500 for a stupid reason when they contacted me to let me know they were refunding the money.   :D  They said a significant number of people missed the flight, and everyone was telling the same story.   ;D

Date night with the husband!

IA: We went to Barnes and Noble before dinner, so it was an expensive evening.

UP: He let me natter on the whole time and actually seemed interested in everything I had to say! This isn't always his reaction to my ramblings.  :P
