IA: Drove to choral practice and it was cancelled because we couldn't get into the building because no one was around (October school holidays are on their 3rd week!). I was really looking forward to singing tonight as well.

UP: I now have 1 night this week free and I can sit and watch bad telly
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

IA:We will - this was a bring-along-husband trip. :) UP:I told him about you when we drove by the exit to Worcester.

Another one, the potential roommate's application came back fine and we're supposed to do lease signing by Wednesday since I have to head to my parents' for my sister's wedding weekend on Thursday. IA: I am not excited about this because it's a guy roommate and I would prefer a female, but at least it's income, and after the last girl backing out on me, I'm going to be uneasy until I have a check and signed lease.

IA: We only have Freeview so I can't watch Most Haunted Live on telly this week. I also applied for tickets to go to Morecambe to see it for my 35th birthday and I didn't get them.

UP: At least I can watch it on YouTube, albeit after the fact and the next day but it's better than nothing.

IA: A Sephora opened up in my sister's (and mine) old Neighborhood in NYC.

UP: Good thing she's not there anymore or I'd be in there buying stuff every time I visited!!!!

 :P

IA: We probably won't get any trick or treaters again this year :(
UP: More sweets for me! :D
IA: Too many sweets make me feel sick :(

IA: Despite getting up on time, I still couldn't manage to get to the office by 8AM.  WTF is my problem?!

UP: My boss isn't here this morning so it doesn't matter much.

I don't think I've been at work on time in 3 weeks. 7:15am is a ridiculous start time, so I don't feel too bad showing up at 7:45 since I'm not the only one. I set my alarm for 5:30 and don't hear it until 6:30 or 6:45!! I'm looking into the dawn simulator clocks.

UP- Another friend is 13 weeks preggers.  That makes the 8th person I know who is having a baby or just had one

IA- 2 of the ladies are my project team members and are leaving me high and dry come December -  :P
A coworker telling me that I'm next, since everyone else was. Umm no. That can stay away from me right now! (I want babies, just not now!) I actually had a nightmare the other night that I was pregnant.

It's like that for me right now, same with 2 years ago. We had 11 people at work 2 years ago, and so far this year we're at 5.

I slept a bit longer than DH this morning and I could hear him banging around in the kitchen. It sounded like he was in there washing the dishes. He came back, woke me up, and the first thing I said to him was 'thanks for washing the dishes'. He continues to get ready for work, then he goes out to the kitchen and frantically starts putting away the dishes in the drying rack. I come out and see that no, he didn't wash the dishes (just the ones he needed to make his breakfast) and now he feels guilty about it! Ha! Even though he didn't wash the dishes (IA), it made me laugh so hard (UP)!

 ;D Men are silly sometimes!

I just received a gorgeous invitation to a fabulous gathering I would love to attend!!!  ;D
Unfortunately, I will be flying in from Dallas that afternoon and won't be able to make it.  :\\\'(
Thanks, anyway, though - you know who you are!  :-*

This sounds like an awesome way to get him to do the dishes (or anything else for that matter)!  Just say, 'honey, thank you so much for xxx' and next thing you know, it'll be done!

My DH would just say 'oh, I didn't do them, sorry'.  :P

Haha! I think he's on to me now and it would never work again. Usually if I ask him if he's done something it's, 'I forgot'. That's because my husband is a 13 year old boy.  ::)

UP: I have part of a pomegranate for lunch!

IA: It's a pain to get all the seeds off.   Usually DH does it for me.  :P
