Part IA, Part UP

UP: Got one of these Violent Veg Calendars. Odd vegie cartoons. UP: The people we are hosting seem really nice.

IA: I still don't want to host anyone this weekend, plus now I have to clean up the flat, plus they are planning to do all the really late night dancing, which will undoubtedly mean getting home around 4AM, waking us up in the process.  Sigh.  I guess this is my karma payback for being hosted in Provence.

IA: We got a notice in the post that we had a package. I thought it was DHs new running shoes and I got him all excited about this. He came home from work early to go up to the depot, in the rain, just to discover it was a book he ordered for work and not his shoes.

UP: I don't have to waste my time going up there on Monday for the package since he already got it!

UP: Found tickets for under $300 for Christmas in Chicago.

IA: They're from Newark rather than our local airport.  Newark of course is farther away and parking costs more.  Why do I have to live in a stupid little city with no proper airport!?!

I have nothing but love for the Newark airport.  It was because of the super fabulous people at the Northwest counter that I got a hotel voucher when the weather conspired against getting me home from the UK this summer.

IA: It was rainy today.
UP: I got to do my pajama day of doing nothing.
UP: Roommate isn't moving in until tomorrow due to the rainy weather.
IA: He didn't call to tell me until now, when most of the day was over and I spend a good chunk of it wondering when he was going to call and start moving his stuff in.

IA- Our office building is being updated and rearranged and we've all got to move out while its being done.  Its a disaster and mess around here as they clean out cupboards and the jumk

UP- I get to move at the end of this week to the other building site- away from the mess and I can work from home more than going in. Yay! 

UP: DH bought me the most fabulously fabulous ring as an early Hanukkah present!

IA: It's being custom made (damn my odd-sized fingers!) so I won't have it until December 13.

UP-I just completed my first internet grocery shopping order. 
IA-By the time I completed the order they were out of marshmallow fluff.  I was really wanting a fluffernutter sandwich!

UP: DH's cousin is getting married...

IA:...for the third time.  The last two were not good at all (one was just a jerk, the other turned out to be a drug dealer).  Please, let her have made a better choice this time!
