Totally agree! We just are having the loveliest Sunday morning, husband and I drinking our coffee and chatting over the newspaper, kids playing nicely together, breeze coming through the lounge...this is the life!!

Yes!  I had a cup of instant (the good kind, not the nasty kind--the brand was mentioned in this thread--forget what it's called) while reading and waiting for hubby to wake up.  Then had our usual good stuff from the french press (cafetiere) in bed while watching a BBC nature program on the laptop with the neighbor's cat snuggling at our feet.

You guys are making me miss coffee.  

Fortunately, that ToH Decaffe stuff isn't bad, and I plan on picking up better instant decaf as well.

Ok Weby and other East Bay (Cali) folks- I'm having my biometrics done in Oakland on Friday  on Telegraph Ave.  Anywhere I should hit up nearby for a fabulous cuppa joe?

Hmm... would have to be Cafe Zaya @ the 20th st/broadway exit of the 19th street BART station. This used to be called Chachies when I lived in Oakland and used to stop there every morning on my way to work. Hopefully the new owners have kept the same outstanding coffee.

Interesting that office is just 1 block from my old office. I used to get off BART go right up the exit and the coffee shop is right there (across the st from sears), get my coffee and then I would walk right by the ASC on my way down 20th st and loved to see the queues at the door before they opened. I'd leave any valuables at home and don't wear any jewelry (it's not a good neighborhood).

Thanks WebyJ, I'll try MoJo's. I love to find a new cafe.    Will I have to wait in line even if I have an appointment at noon?  I have to be at work in the South Bay at 4, so I'm thinking I may need to change my shift...

Nah you should be OK for your shift. I'd think you should get there a bit ahead of time just to be sure.

I did a bit of searching looks like MoJo's is now Cafe Zaya but it's still in the same place.

Good suggestion WebyJ!  I had an awesome latte and a bagel for 5 bucks- what a steal.
