Yes, that's why I put in a who do you think WILL win poll. I realise it is two totally separate things!  ;) My opinion usually changes halfway through anyway, or at least, once the people I'm cheering for initially have been eliminated.  :P

:)  ;)

Wagner- No, no, no.  I think he’s first to go.
......
In short, Wagner or Nicolo going home tonight.  My money’s on Wagner.

But Wagner has the Fromage Factor.  :D  :P

Don't forget... it's a double elimination tonight! So hopefully the two worst acts will be gone (I'm betting on Nicolo and Wagner.)

I had forgotten it was double elimination, I'm crossing my fingers for Wagner and that awful Katie.  But, I'm guessing Nicolo and Wagner too.

Eeek! I'd forgotten two of them were going! And I can't even watch tonight ... at least, not without incurring the wrath of my X Factor -hating husband! I'll have to stay away from this thread until tomorrow morning.  :-\\\\

I don't think Wagner will go yet. He's got that freak thing going that will make some people vote for him. I could be wrong, but I don't think any of the gimmicky acts will go in the first 2-3 weeks.

My guess is it'll be John, Belle Amie, FYD, Paije or Nicolo.

Chary- D hates X-Factor so I didn't watch last night's until this afternoon when he was out.  Tonight he'll just have to go in another room, my classmates and I do a post-mortem on Monday afternoon after our first seminar and I don't want to be left out.   ;)

I am so cynical about this series, but I am 100% sure that they know who the winner will be from the first day. honestly!

Wasn't too sad to see Nicolo or FYD go (who voted for them in the poll, by the way?! LOL!) but I would rather have seen Katie go than either of them. I hope they give Wagner a chance next week rather than cheesing him up again. I mean, I know the guy is a bit cornball and everything, but he isn't a terrible singer and all of that crazy dancing and the silly song choice just made him a laughing stock.

 ;D

Not me!

They were pretty awful, so I'm not surprised. But there were a few equally awful acts, so it could have been any of a handful of them. I'm glad they saved Katie. I think she's got talent. She won't win, but she deserved to stay in this week.

Ugh. Next week two people I cannot abide - Katie Perry and Diana Vickers.  :-X

Speaking of which (not that either of those acts you mentioned are, but...), I wonder who will win the "Best Burnt-Out Celebrity Performance" this year... haha! I think Whitney Houston won that hands down last year for clearly being high on something and her dress falling to bits on stage. Year before was either Mariah Carey who must have been on Valium as she acted like a total zombie or Britney Spears who was obviously lip-syncing the whole time... wonder who they will dig up this year to bring on stage and embarrass themselves?!  ;)

I am so glad FYD is gone - for some reason they drove me insane!

I cant wait for the judges to quit being so nice and just say you sucked up there lol

Three things that surprised me tonight:

1.  That I actually really like Cher a lot
2.  That John got even more boring
3.  That Wagner used to be hot!

I'm still 100% behind Aiden, but that wasn't his best performance. Still, it was my favourite of the night by far.

1.  That I actually really like Cher a lot

Yeah, I just rewatched Cher's auditions on YouTube and I do actually quite like her. I'm not sure that she deserved to have been put through to the final 3 after not being able to perform at judge's houses, but I definitely understand why Cheryl put her through in terms of her potential - she's very current and I think she could really have a good pop career.

2.  That John got even more boring

I just found out this evening that John won a MOBO award in 2003 (Unsung Artist of the Year), under the stage name J'Nay. He's also toured with Jamelia, appeared on Britain's Next Top Model, used to be a singing teacher and he taught Oritsé from JLS to sing!

I'm still 100% behind Aiden, but that wasn't his best performance.

I like his voice, but Aiden seems way too stiff on stage to me - I thought maybe that was just how he was supposed to be in his song last week (for the effect), but he did the same this week... I just want him to relax a bit when he's singing :)!

I liked Matt's performance this week, and Katie's too (she sang nicely, although I'm not really a fan), also Paije was good and I do like John's voice, even if he is a bit boring!

I think the boy and girl groups are getting better, but they don't really seem like they've gelled properly yet (despite what the judges are saying) and they aren't really blowing me away or anything (I do like Harry (he's like a little puppy dog!) and Liam though).

TreyC is a really amazing singer, but I'm not sure that she's really standing out compared to everyone else at the moment, especially as the other 3 girls in the category have had a lot more press lately.

I am so glad FYD is gone - for some reason they drove me insane!

I liked them in terms of how put together they were and I don't think they deserved to go home on the first week - they could sing and dance and they had everything really well choreographed... although the guy with glasses had the weirdest expressions on his face when he sang :P!

I love the tension in his face, body and voice when he performs. To me, that's what's so great about him!

Favourites of the night were Rebecca, Cher and Aiden. I really liked Cher's performance and her song, though all of her face pulling annoys me, and I also think it's a little unfair that she gets to do these "creative" songs and performances when no one else gets to. I think Aiden is great, and I love the song he chose, I think his performance was better than he obviously thought it was, but I think he will get better in subsequent weeks. No way can he be in the bottom this week.  :-\\\\ To be honest, I think he's too good and too unique for the show. He isn't really "pop star" material, and I mean that as a compliment, I think of most pop singers as sort of vapid and pointless. Aiden reminds me of Thom Yorke, who is also very twitchy.  :P I think he needs a band backing him up and then he might be less nervous. I still love Rebecca's voice. Love it.

Storm, Wagner - terrible snooze fest.  [smiley=sleeping2.gif]

Matt - meh. Not my favourite performance. I'm tired of all the girly singing. But he might win. I see most of you think so!  ;)

Katie - much better, and good song choice. She's okay.

Diva Fever - crap song choice. Fun guys. I think they may end up on the bottom this week.

So, my guesses for bottom three are:

Wagner, Storm and Diva Fever.
