I was wondering if that'd be the case. Wasn't sure if it was worth all the hype (or the news about these people competing for the Darwin award because of it).

It's not an amazing film, wasn't terribly tense or scary, but it was entertaining.

The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

I settle down to watch something that we have both been looking forward to - and hubby goes asleep.
This is usually me! Med side effects have been making me extra sleepy so we plan to watch something and 20 minutes in I'm asleep. Oops!

It used to wind me up but now I just enjoy the film or whatever myself.

No point in getting wound up about it.

The big night out is cancelled as the cousin is sick.  They’ve been going nonstop since they landed so not a huge surprise.

But a £96 loss on the escape room and £80 cancellation fee for the restaurant (which I will dispute if they try to put through).  Grrrrrrrr.  If the escape room gets rebooked, we will have a credit at least.

oh no :( That's pricey! I hope they feel better quickly, but frustrating that your plans have now been cancelled.

I feel awful that she’s sick.  But it’s a very harsh cancellation fee for a restaurant.  The escape room, I totally get.  As that would genuinely be lost earnings.

The restaurant charging you is obscene! A fancy place like that will have filled your table within no time. I wouldn't give them my business!

My inconvenient annoyance today is I can’t believe none of you said that Bohemian Rhapsody was a MUST SEE IN THEATRE movie.  Because of our cancelled plans, we kept the sitter and went to dinner and a movie instead.  Honestly, it may have just been the best movie I’ve ever seen!  WOW!

The escape room was resold!  And no charge (yet) from the restaurant.  Cousin is better but very weak, so unlikely we will see them today.   :\\\'(  Hoping we can see them Tuesday after work.

I said it on Facebook. That counts right?  ;D

Hope your cousin gets better soon.

My local NHS is my IA today. They waited 3 months to refer me to gastroenterology hoping my issues would solve themselves, my appointment isn't for 3 more months and it isn't even with a gastroenterology team, at a hospital that everyone wears crazy strong scents. Guess it's time to get to know my local PALS group if they won't fix this. But right now I'm too upset to even speak with anyone.

Oh no Margo.  Kick up a fuss. You definitely seem like you need an emergency appointment!!

Welp, they moved it to Feb 18th which is much better but still not seeing a GI specialist.

Uggh, really? Not even seeing a GI specialist. That seems bizarre to me!

Guess I have to start somewhere. But I feel a lot better knowing it will be in 3 weeks vs 3 months!
