Not too much in the village we're in, but I know the roads in towards town are a mess. Its just a fine, fine snow that keeps falling. Chicklet had school today, but one of the primary schools in the village is closed. Its just enough to make a mess.

It just keeps snowing & snowing here! We have at least 6 inches out there now & no sign of it stopping. :o

I don't remember it snowing this much - all in one go, for the entire 9 years I've lived here. :o

Still snowing, albeit lightly, in Pontefract. We had at least an inch or two still on the grass  from Friday, and got another 2-3 inches last night. I was watching it at 1 a.m.  I opened the curtains next to our bed and fell asleep watching it fall. Lovely.

My DH just went to town in a hat, t-shirt, and light fleece jacket, unzipped. Crazy. He said he'd be to town and back before I got dressed in long underwear, two pair of socks, boots, 3 layers of clothing, inside scarf, long wool coat, outer scarf and two pair of gloves. :)

I love snow, but only when I don't have to go out in it. :D

My step-son's first day back at Leeds Uni. Trying to find out if classes are still being held or if it's worth him traveling there. His first class is around 2 p.m.

We haven't had any more snow in Bristol since Friday, but I have to drive back to Lincoln this afternoon, and I'm hoping the roads aren't too bad up there.

I'm so sad we've only had the light dusting Friday. It's almost all gone, too, and looking really unattractive.

I am so jealous of you Northern's still seeing the snow come down!

All the snow in front of our place (a main high street of London) has melted with the grit + sun + pollution) but out back it is still a wintry wonderland of 1 & 1/2 inches accumulation:

I keep hoping a few more flakes will appear this week.

Just sitting here jealous!  ;D From what I have been hearing from family and friends in Blackburn, and pics they are posting, there is more snow now than the whole three years I was there.

Enjoy! I remember once (probably about 18 years ago now) it was snowing so hard I knew there was going to be no school next day. So DS and I waded through the drifts to catch a movie at the Cottage Road  :D

Sick of the snow already - or more accurately put, the lack of infrastructure, knowledge, skill, desire and will to manage said snow by some. ::)

Don't mock the snow tyres etc.  :-\\\\

/Rant over.

Aww - I thought you liked snow? Hope you start feeling better.  :)

I saw on the weather forecast last night that Scotland (at least up your way) was in for it & I nearly put something on your Facebook page.

The weather has been all over the place today, five minutes of sun, ten minutes of swirling snowstorm, 20 minutes of fog, wash, rinse repeat.

There is a blizzard warning for my area from right now through tomorrow morning. I don't mind snow generally, but this area is only just getting back to normal from the hurricane so I'm really hoping it's not too bad. Plus, I've got a gig to go to tomorrow that I've been waiting months for and my brother's GF's baby shower on Sunday.  :-\\\\
